I just wanted to say "thank you" to all who offered advice and helped me see the light. I have had no contact with my scammer. He has not attempted to contact me nor I him. I feel pain and sympathy for whoever his next victim is. After daily contact with him for 5 months, I am left with anger and pain. I have trust issues with people now and have had to take antidepressants and anxiety meds to help with panic attacks. I did not have these prior to "steve."
As I move forward with my life, I simply try to focus on one day at a time. I am rebuilding relationships with my family. Thank god I found an attorney who has a heart and is working with me.

I have been contacted by this same man on fb. The more I talked to him the more the flags went up. U see about 6 months ago I was scammed by someone I met thru my moms boyfriend. Lucky I didn't get in trouble but I had to give statement and such. It's amazing how these people can sweet talk ya even face to face. The big one is playing on ur emotions. Saying they love u and miss u and such. So the things this Steve guy started saying sounded familiar. So I decided to check him out and whala I came here. I'm so glade I did. It saved me from getting hurt and getting in trouble with the law. I got lucky first time. U know scammers like this make it hard for women to trust men. Especially when u are getting out of relationship and want move on.
Steve is using the same email address. So he must have dozens. And the more I think about it he sure didn't sound to English. I get this gut feeling his African. Just something in his voice dosent sit right with me. I have deleted my yahoo account since he was the only one I knew. I'm sure hell still send messages via facebook. I'm glade I found this site and post about him before it was to late. I feel for anybody that has been taken advantage of because it is hard not to blame urself for not seeing the signs sooner. And then u might have trouble trusting new people. I hope someone can get this scammer before anymore women are taken advantage of. Oh he is still saying he's from norwhic England UK.

One of my fb characters found Peter Wilshere in a search and emailed. He replied;

Hi Jennifer [this is not my character's name, he's getting sloppy - a good thing],
I am sorry for the blank message,my name is Peter,I am very delighted to meet you here. I saw your profile in the search result i got when i was looking for my old school mates , i just could not resist but to take a glance at u. I guess you must hear this everyday.
I am an architectural designer and geophysicist for major corporate bodies across were ever (laughs..). I know this is not a dating site but i really will love to explore this possibility of getting to know you quite well. So do tell me a thing or two about you ok?
Regards Peter.

I have replied, we shall see what happens (I'll post up any further scripts from him so that they are searchable).
