Be warned... He has moved to the social site Tagged.com. On the site he goes by Jim Wiseman. He now claims he is from Montreal, Canada and is 42 years old.. But he's not really smart enough to post a picture that doesn't have a man sitting on what looks like an airplane, with WISEMAN on the name tag and U.S ARMY on the other....(Canada huh).. He say's he is serving overseas and will not be home until Nov. The picture he is using is on scamwarners with FAKE across it. He did have a couple of other pictures as well on the site. Ladies beware. I caught on before he actually asked me for anything, but PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAMMER!! The email he had to contact me was, [email protected]. I was also able to track where his Internet provider was from ,via his IP number and he's in Sunnyvale Cal. not overseas or Canada!!!

This is not just one man - it may not even be a man. There are groups of people involved in this scam and they tend to use the same photos and names. You can spot a scammer by
1) "He" is usually a widower with one child
2) "He" says he is American or British but his English is poor and littered with mistakes
3) The profile and emails are flowery, telling you all about him and how wonderful he is and how much he wants love.
4) He will ask you for your email address immediately, or ask you to go on MSN messenger.

I report the profiles immediately but sometimes I engage these people in chat, just to make sure, and I've noticed the following things
1) When you ask what his name is, he says "am Jonas (for example). And you?" Rarely says "I am", usually just "am".
2) When you ask how he is, he says "am fine, and you?" The "and you" is a dead giveaway.
3) Reluctant to tell you exactly where he originates from, tries to duck the question
4) HIs only child usually lives with a "caretaker".

Please don't feel you have been scammed by one person. There are too many fake profiles out there for it to be anything other than organised groups.

The pictures in this post I have received from a scammer but using a different name. But in the uniform pictures there is Wiseman on the jacket.

He found me on Facebook. The profile picture that he used I see he has used before. And I was also given other pictures that I am not finding someone else has. I have an ID card and a cashier's check.

He did call me and we used voice call on Yahoo Messenger. And the first phone call a number showed up, I also have that.

He said his wife died when his daughter was 6, she in now 16. I have a home number, home address, and the boarding school information where she is at.

I will have my findings, posted in several places online.

These are all the photos I have received. All of them say "Wiseman" on the shirt/jacket, except for the last photo it says "Moore".

Further to this scammer we were sent to our mailbox a message from a victim. As a result it gives us a mass of fake profiles used by this utterly filthy criminal. this guy is also on another chat site named airg.com. his screenname on there is wiseman2000 and he has the same pics on there that he has on all his facebook accounts and so forth. he is telling the women on there that his name is crown wiseman. that his wife and 2 kids were killed in a horrific accident and his parents are also deceased. he claims to be a sgt. in the military but when he is asked questions about his military experience, he avoids the questions.
