Thank you, I will do and upsload picture. I have read a lot on your website ans I ahve been contact by Joost Hendrick too but just before Marianna , in early July.
Here is his fisrt email too

I am South African, but born in Tanzania and spent my pre-teen years in Mali, due to my father's job;he was an archaelogist whose fascination with Timbuktu and it's history made me fall in love with culture, history and travelling from a very young age.We didn't get to move back home to Johannesburg until I was 14.I'm from a small family;just my parents me and my little sister. My father passed away in July 2008 after having battled stroke for over a decade and my mother was a nurse, but retired for a few years now and living back home in Johannesburg, with my younger sister Tess, who is a secondary school teacher. We are a very close knit family, hence why I try to see them at least twice a year.

I moved to the United Kingdom in 2003 due to my wife wanting to be close to her ailing father and I've been single for almost 3 years, since I lost her to an auto accident in November 2008.I have now chosen to get back into the dating game, but opted for the virtual route because I have never been a fan of pubs nor clubs, and everyone has embraced online/dot.com culture.I'm looking for a soulmate who would be my friend and lover.I'm not keen on looks even though chemistry is important.I like modesty, intelligence, decent sense of humour and being skilled in the culinary arts,in a woman.I don't have kids but I love dogs; sadly my job doesn't allow me enough time to care for and own one.

I am a Petroleum engineering consultant whose specialty is maintenance and repair of oil tankers and vessels.I'm also in the process of acquiring licenses to lift or dredge for crude oil in some specific OPEC countries.I'm an old romantic who's friendly, honest, down to earth,a good listener, eager to learn and well-versed in a lot of things.I'm also very ambitious and adventurous.I like reading a variety of stuff which challenge my intellect,I love Latin history;it's literature and arts, massive football follower(I'm a Liverpool FC fan).I listen mostly to deep, but mellow music, mostly watch funny movies only and cartoons.I like video-games,ride motorbikes and I've owned an Honda Hornet for 6 years now, but most of all, enjoy wild and exciting adventures like abseiling, bungee jumping, mountain climbing, white water rafting and deep sea diving.I am an adrenaline junkie, but not to the extreme. My favourite books, are The Partner by John Grisham and Fools Die by Mario Puzo. The Champ,Escape from Sobrebor and Carlito's Way are my favourite movies. The Gambia,is my favourite holiday destination.Blue is my favourite colour. My dream is to build orphanages and football academies in war-torn 3rd world countries within the next decade,God willing.I am presently working on an oil haulage and dispersal project with some colleagues from my former work and a few friends. We are setting it up in Philippines and the Middle East,so shuttle between Europe and Manila for now,so as to bond and strategise on ways to commence with the project.

I hope I haven't rambled on and bored you?Have a lovely week.

PS I've attached a few random photos of me.

Hi ladies, and whoever is reading this.....I need to let you know that this online romantic scammer is back online!!!

I am from the UK and joined Match.com on Saturday morning for the first time; within 5 mins I had a "wink" from someone with black and white photo of a man who was very attractive; I got a message "cute smile" and then an email asking me to email him on a seperate email address as he was about to cancel his match.com membership apparently.

I did email the email address he gave but it bounced back.

Then he emailed me the same story the other girl on here mentioned, with some slight amends, his wife died in an accident whilst she was 6 months pregnant is his latest story and he is calling himself Joost Thaba Hendrick this time.

He emailed me 10 pics and I knew immediately something odd was going on as the guy on the photos was VERY attractive and I was sure would not need to be on dating website.

More emails followed saying he was in Brussels on route to Manlia on business. I googled him and nothing came up, which is unusual as he was telling me he was a sucessful businessman. So I checked with the Brussels airport departures and there were no flights leaving that day to where he said he was going. I then took the Thaba part out of his name and googled him again and this website came up and I read your messages and have been laughing to myself. It is crazy to think a man thinks he is so clever that he can scam women in this way.
I deleted all his messages, but today he has messaged me again, with more photos, again of the really attractive man, telling me he has just landed in Manila and has been out for a business meal with some business partners. I am assuming it is these "partners" who he will be contacting me again in future with regards to and telling me then have let him down and he needs some money.
I am going to report him to match.com today in the hope he isnt fooling any women and that no one is actually going to either fall for him or even worse give him money, as he doesnt even exist! If anyone needs proof of my messages or the photos etc I can send the ones he sent me today, I just hope no one suffers as a result of this idiot!!

^ could you provide us with his profile at match.com and his email addresses please?
if you've kept any of the photos they would also be useful so others can see, and possibly trace the real person in the photo.

Yes of course, here are the two email addresses he contacted me from

[email protected]

and

[email protected]

He calls himself "fernandontscorres" on Match.com and his profile pic is a black and white one.

If you can let me know how to upload photos to this post, I can upload all the ones I was sent.

thanks

Miss S,

Please see here viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3219 for instructions on how to post pictures.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hello domino13!

The originating IP is 217.174.251.141 which resolves to the UK. More importantly this scammer is already known to us here viewtopic.php?p=66955#p66955 another poster was in communications with the same scammer using the same email address.

He is 100% a scammer everything he has told you is a lie. The pictures are not him just pictures he stole off the Internet. Stop all communications with him imeadietly and he will eventually go away.

Sorry to hear you were targeted by this scanner but glad you found the site before getting anymore involved.

Justin

Hi all!

Ironically I contacted him on Professional Free & Single dating website in late August 2011 (checked just now and he is still on there under the username Joost). He called himself a widower aged 38 (he apparantly turned 39 on 29/08/2011) and I added him to my favourites. I then took him off as he had not replied and sent him a witty email to boot.

In essence, I wished him luck in his search and asked he do the same as I had the same romantic luck as a nun in the middle of the Gobi desert surrounded by the French Foreign Legion! He seemed to think this funny as he came calling me Lovely Louise and gave me his yahoo instant messenger email. From memory it was the yahoo address signifiying a French domain ie yahoo.fr.

I then bored him to tears with the following exchange:
Joost - Hi!
Louise - Hey how was your weekend?
Joost - Fine. Yours!
Louise - Not so bad. Got caught in the rain (NB there was torrential rain in Canterbury] but never mind. It was fun jumping from shop to shop.
Joost - sorry

And that was it. I have heard no more and has not tried to contact me any further either for romance or finance. Not sure what I did to put him off.

I am really sorry that you all were effected by him but never give anyone money online or on the street. No one operates this and especially companies.

Good luck in your quests to find a nice man though and my search is proving dismally slow.

With kind regards,

Louise

Hi there Ladies.

I have now too been contacted by someone known as Joost haba Hendrick however it has been on going now since July of last year however unlike yourselves I have sent this person money I cannot tell you the amount as I am totally and utterley embarrassed by the fact I was so stupid to believe in this person always thinking of the best of him but I know now finally that I have been dupped and I guess I have a very hard lesson to learn from all of this but better late than never, right.

In our months of chatting he has told me that he has been beaten up a couple of times and has been hospitalised, he ran out of money and had to sleep in the train station, he stated most recently he had come to the UK but was going to be deported as did not have the paperwork which I provided the funds for and once he got this he stated he would be with me the next but suprisingly he did not show.

I have reported all of this to the police not a pleasant thing to do but even though it was totally embarassing and upsetting I did it as if it prevents someone else from being conned by this person then all the better for it.

Another name he mentioned in sending money to him was Kunle Abidemi who after searching for using the web appears on facebook so just wanted to hightlight this.

If there are any more details that anyone would like about this person then just let me know.

Email address he used was [email protected] and the most recent mobile number I had was +447700046680

The pictures on this website I have seen tonight are not the same I was sent but I have many different ones but it is the same person in the photos as I have seen tonight.

Hello!
Sorry to hear you had money stollen from you. It's a hard way to learn about Internet scams but I'm sure you will be much more careful now. Try not to beat yourself up too much no one expects to be lied to trying to find romance.

As I'm sure you know now everything he told you was a lie in order to steal your money. If any of the scammers details like email address or phone number are not already please post those.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes I have learnt my lesson it may have taken a long time but I have finally got it that he is a fake and I just hope that no one else falls for this scam as I know know from personal experience it does not feel good.

I have added the email he used on Yahoo messenger which has the same header as previous entries and the mobile I had.

Hi ladies. I stand with you. Also contacted by Joost, this time Joost Frankel. Very good looking, keen to chat off site straight away (match). WhatsApp messages v different to flowery emails. Also an engineer. Company based in Oxford. Authentic looking LinkedIn page. Lots of photos. Went out to Manila to oversee a project. The guy he had hired ahead of time had used illegal workers and materials. Needed to bribe police to get passport back and asked me for money via western union. I didn’t send and am very sad I allowed myself to believe he was real
