Hi Guys!

I think I must have to ask your help again if can be possible.
I got an offer from catering area (Camelot Castle, UK).

But it is suspicious a little. The required conditions fit to my qualities are listed in my CV (doesnot enclosed) fairly strictly, the tone of the email also makes me skeptical. And author uses 'England' expression instead of UK in the signiture field.

Could you check me whether it is possible to come from the scene of 'Camelot Castle' ?
Can it be a scam?
I hope cannot.

Thanks in advance!

regards, Joe

Camelot Castle hotel does exist and is in Cornwall, so that much is accurate.

It's a shame that all the communication has been via Gumtree, as it hides the IP address and actual email address that they are using.

I would still be very sceptical though that it is a real job as I can't see a hotel like that advertising through Gumtree.

The easiest way to check would be to either phone the real hotel or email them. The details can be got on their website http://www.camelotcastle.com

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Looking at the above, I would say that it is legitimate.

You emailed on the legitimate domain and got a response, so they must have received it on that domain.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Just to clarify:

Did you ask whether the messages sent to you came from the company, or did you ask whether the job vacancy exists?

These are two very different questions, and it is important to ask the right one.

Scammers will copy real job ads and use them in their scams, so if you ask the real company if the job vacancy exists, they may confirm this--but it doesn't mean they are the ones contacting you.

Hi Dotti

Our conversation made via Gumtree was forwarded to the email address ([email protected]) which was found on oficial website Camelot Castle.
But the answer was coming from: [email protected]

And this Lady was the author of responses which were arriving from Gumtree, too.

See my mailing in order:
