Tim is not American and is a scammer. We've already established that. The fact that you met him doesn't negate the fact that he's a scammer.
Why should you care if a scammer gets kidnapped? They deserve to be kidnapped, stredded (or straneded or however they misspell it), arrested, and worse.
Do you really want to marry a scammer? If not, don't look for your husband in a site that's swarming with scammers. Decide what values you want in your partner, then figure out where you're likely to find men like that, and go there.
