If your dating/social networking profile is still open, the scammer will try again (or share your info with someone else).
If you closed that profile, but the scammer has a current email address for you, that address will likely be shared with other scammers, and if so, your email address with be targeted with more scams (not necessarily romance scams--could be advance fee scams, loan scams, lotteries, etc. Whether you actually see those emails will be largely dependent on the strength of your mail provider's spam filters.
