When did you start corresponding with him??

I'm glad you quickly realized that this was a scammer and didn't waste too much time on him. As you noticed, the excessive use of terms of endearment, and the use of "queen" especially, are not typical of an American writer, and are a definite red flag when you are dealing with someone online.

This statement has me concerned that you still are not understanding or accepting the reality of the situation.
The man you chatted with was not really named Jackson Philip, he is not in the US army at all (he's African), and he was never in Afghanistan.
