In this email the scammer is trying to get the victim to contact her barrister, in reality, if the barrister is not the same person, he is definately from the same group of scammers.

It is also interesting to note that these scammers believe they would convince a real lawyer that this is all true, they have a lot of confidence in their own ability to lie and steal;

My dear, i have heard what you said, tell your lawyer to contact barrister Denis Mohamed as soon as possible, i am tired of staying here in the refugee camp, please do every thing fast so that the money can be transfer to you. I look forward to hearing good news from you.

When this scammer's storyline starts to break down, he tries another angle, this time it is virtually begging;

Good day my dear,

I have received your mail and i really appreciate your concern towards me and i am very happy for your kindness, as you asked; i would prefer it most if you can send small money to me no matter how big or small so that i can be able to buy winter cloths, foods to eat and my personal effect, there is too much cold here in Senegal and we don't have good accomodation.

Please my love, i need some money, it will help me a lot, i am suffering too much here, if you can do this for me, God will pay you back in a million folds. I look forward to your positives response and i promise you that you will not regret what ever you do to help me.

Dont be tempted to feel sorry them, it is all lies, scammers by comparrison live much better than many of the honest people with jobs.

After being offered chocolate and champaigne, the scammer gives an address and continues to try for money.

From what I can tell, the address is a residential area not too far from the airport

I have received your mail and i really appreciate your concern towards my condition here in the camp, as you asked; here is the address of our camp: DIAMALAYE III NO. 03, NORD FOIRE DAKAR SENEGAL. You can send the champainge and chocolates through the address.

Then about the money, you are to send the money by Western Union Money Transfer with the following information;

Months later out of the blue, this scammer decides to try again with a slightly different approach to get some money

Meanwhile, I didn't forget your past efforts and attempts to assist me in transferring the funds despite that it failed us some how.

Ask him to send you a certified bank Check of ( US$300.000.00 ) which I prepared and kept for your compensation for all the past efforts and attempts to assist me in this matter.
