Dear Bryon I would not tell him he was posted here, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks to your web site. i was almost a victime of this man who is supposed to johnson barry. He introduced himself as a businessman, a widow with a daughter named Juliet. He travelled to US then suddenly he is in malysia where he bought his goods and shipped them to UK. he said that he ran out of cash and his credit card went off limit. he is asking help telling me to send him cash thru western union because juliet got sick. i become suspicious because why would he ask money from me and he is so insistent.
im writing this to warn who ever will fall to this man.

That is correct Matrix. It would defeat the purpose. The scammer would simply lay low for a wee while if it knew of the report that's been posted. In a short while it would be back with a new identity and e-mail address, making it more difficult to decipher the next time. Whilst it's true it will leave you alone when it realises you won't be scammed, the downside being it will prey on someone else and the cycle repeats. But through your reporting others are less likely to get stung when conducting an internet search.

Thankyou for the input amydg. Could you possibly publish the e-mail address or any other details the scammer used? Or did the sleaze ball use the same as printed previously? You mentioned Malaysia, that is probably where the scammer is located. There is plenty of nigerian scam artists there. If you check the email header, it (usually) shows the origin of the message. You should see three or four IP numbers and it's the bottom one is of interest.

this is most probably a FAKE internet texting number.
you can get those easily, for example via pinger.com

anybody in the world can register
within seconds you are provided with a FREE US number for texting and an area code in the US whichever you like to choose ...
texting can be done either from a cell-phone, or from your browser, very convenient for scammers ...

Adding for search engines. This is a stolen photo this scammer will use.
