yes, I believe it is. This is a number given to me by Bill Morgan. He wants me to call this number and speak to someone who will tell me Bill Morgan is a fine, wonderful, truth-telling , church going individual who just happened to screw me out of $200,000. What is magic jack??

^^^ magic jack is a VOIP service. VOIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MagicJack
Please note that the use of MagicJack alone does not make it a scam just like many scammers ask for payments via western union but western union itself is not a scam. Also $200,000 is a huge amount of money. I feel very sad that someone would ever do that to another person. Could you post more information to expose the criminal. I think with this amount of money involved it would be worth it to get law enforcement involved but having evidence that the person scammed you is good but please don't contact them again only post old emails or messages or anything that could help expose the criminal. This way if the criminal is trying to scam someone else and they use use a search engine and input the scam or the criminal's name they will likely find this website.

I am in the process of filing a complaint with IC3. The information the report form requests is going to be quite lengthy and it requires specific evidence of the crime. There is no guarantee the complaint will be acted upon. I want to do it regardless the outcome. I hope at the least it will somehow keep another person from being defrauded of their entire life's savings. I am hoping this site, Scamwarners, will also - and probably has also - influenced potential victims to investigate any request by any individual on any site to send money. I can't get the money back. I can't get 2 years of my life back. I can offer to anyone who has even a notion of being scammed to investigate, to read, to reach out and get help from this site in particular because had I known of it, I would not now be dependent on family to sustain me.

Thank you for your concern - Jolene
