Hi Monica1965, sorry I am late to the conversation. I hope by now you have stopped contact with this person. I know it is very hard when someone tells you the person you are in contact with is a scammer. But please trust the expert advise of the people on this site. They don't say it to hurt you- it is to make you see the truth. I was scammed and believe me, it was the last thing I wanted to read. It hurt. I was in love with the person who was scamming me and I didn't want to not believe he was real. He seemed so warm and loving- right up the point when he asked me for money and I gave it to him. And even if your scammer hasn't asked for money, it's just a matter of time before it happens. Sometimes they take longer, just to build up your trust in them.
There are many clues as to how someone can be a scammer. Let me tell you right now there are a lot of scammers posing as military members. It seems to be their favorite for instilling trust and faith in who they are. They like to say they don't have access to money, need money to retire or leave and come home, sometimes say they need money for a passport stamp. All false. Your scammer used pictures of a handsome soldier, and that along with wonderful words, all spin a fairy tale that is easy to believe.
Please don't be fooled. This is a professional liar. He will only hurt you. If you stop now, you can heal, move forward and find real love that you deserve. None of us deserve to be treated like this, lied to, conned, all with the intent of hurting our hearts and absolutely our bank accounts.
