Blackmail Scams - Sextortion Scams

So the same exact thing happened to me. Started texting the girl off of POF and she proceeded to send me nudes and afterwards tell me that she's 15 and said she wants to meet up. So the next morning the father proceeded to blow up my phone yelling and screaming saying his daughter is in the hospital and he goes to her phone and finds our text messages. Says she's going to a counselling / rehab at three trees. But the only one I can find when I Google that is in South Carolina and he says that I need to pay all of it in order to stay out of jail is what his wife told him so I asked to meet him in person and he says to go to Walmart and buy Green Dot card and load the money on that. Is this a scam?

Never heard anything back from her. So today the father perceives to call yell and scream that his daughter is in the hospital and that she has to be sent to Rehabilitation / counseling place and that I need to pay it in order to keep it from going to court. So I asked him to meet in public and he proceeded to tell me to go get a Green Dot card from Walmart and load the money on it to send to him. His numbers from Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Is this a scam?

Yes it is a scam. Besides the nefarious father-daughter act, any payment made with a prepaid card (of any type) is a scam. Don't pay anybody with prepaid cards and don't give money to anybody you've only met online.

Please post the phone numbers used, names, user name, link to profile and etc so others can find the information and be warned.

The girls name was Alexis, her POF name was sexiilexii the # used was 843-799-8000. The fathers name was supposedly "thomas lawson" his number was 843-284-7627.

I got calls and textsee from a guy saying his daughter slit her wrists when she was caught by her mom making a video for me. He said she was only 14 and that he was going to call the cops unless I would pay $11,000 to pay her medical bills abs rehab. He said if I didn't pay he would call my work and tell them what I had done and also would go to police. The numbers he called and texted from are 803-225-0656 and 843-754-7452. I met this girl on Skout. Her profile says her name is Melody Allen and that she is 25. We shared a couple pics until she asked if I wanted to have a threesome with her and her 16 year old sister. I told her that was wrong and didn't text her anymore

The dad sent me a "letter" from Three Rivers Behavioral. It had their names on it and what they owed but in bold print going diagonal across the paper it said Ex. Counseling Service Letter. I have tried to get him to meet me in person but he says he won't and if I don't pay he is calling the police. Also at the end of all his texts he addresses me as sir. I need to know how to squash this P.O.S.!

I am in the same situation her pof said she was 19 then when she text said she was 17 but I didn't care and we both exchanged pics now her dad is calling me asking for money because the girl tried to leave to house to see me and hurt her mother and now he is asking me to pay the medical bills the number is 8034592130 is this a scam we asked me to send him money by Green dot card
