Your primary concern must be to your own welfare SoSad and that of your immediate family and dependents. There's no sense in allowing your father to drag you in to his nightmare. It might be useful to share your knowledge with the rest of the family, in case they can help. and so that they don't get caught out in providing loans for him to waste on the scammer.
Anyone who is close, or who gets close, to someone who is in this situation can find it drags them down too and you have to think of yourself and those who depend on you. It is 'so sad' but do anything else turns you in to a victim too.
