Ok, guys i believe i just fallen victim of this but let me know what you think. Within the last couple weeks i was talking to this Removed (BW) girl (not trying to be racist), I met her on pof, and talked on there and then started texting. I never really knew her age, and things got serious one night and we exchanged pics,which i immediately regret doing, then she stopped talking to me for a couple of days and during those couple of days i tried messaging her and no response. So couple days later she messages me saying where have i been or that i must have been busy lately. So we started talking again and i was getting weird triple texts when i never reply back. So just this Sunday i get a call from her "father", saying that he is upset that i was sending pornography to her daughter which i only sent one pic of me and i like i said before i regret that cause i normally never do that but was having a rough month. Any way he calls me from her number and leaves a voicemail and a text. Saying this Nicole's father and it best that you call me before i make it to the police department and have you arrested. Once i saw that voicemail and the text i immediately call him and during the phone call says his wife is extremely upset and she is the one that wants me arrested but he all on giving me a second chance but he want me to pay for counseling, which was like 2100 he said but he didn't want me to pay all of it but to help cover the damages and that i was responsible for my actions. I said i didn't have the money and i dont know how i will come up with the money and he insisted that a bank should easily give me a loan for that amount and he was wanting money that day and banks are closed on Sundays. So i said idk what im going to do and he told me to get back with him. So i rushed home to tell my mom and both me and her talked to the guy and while me and her was talking he was wanting me to give the money to his brother in law or something to do with Walmart i could hardly understand the guy. So we said it wont be until Friday until we get the money. So between then and now i talked to attorney thinking that is real. The attorney doesn't know if it was real. So yesterday i got call from the guy and he said he was ready to get his settled up and that he wants to just get it over with and i was told by my attorney to tell him to further any more contact with me that is best for the guy to call my attorney. So i get a couple a texts saying that he has no choice but to involve the law, and also leaves me another voicemail and it has been a whole day since i received that call and text that he was going to involve the law and i haven't been contacted by a officer or had the police to show up at my house. So is this scam or should i be worried? I've already learned my lesson to stay off those sites and that sexting is no good deal. I am physically and mentally tore up. If i can get some ease of mind that would be thankful.

I'm also from Indiana by the way. Also i tried to look up her account on pof before i deactivated mine and all of my other accounts such as tinder and meet me i couldn't find her profile or anything it was gone! So I'm just trying to ride out what is going to happen until i figure out it is a scam, I have told a couple of my close friends and they say it sounds like a scam but just there is apart of me that seems like it real and it feels so real! Just very scared beyond control and i don't want to ruin my life! Should i just block the number and move on or should i wait? I deleted the messages before Sunday and all the photos of the girl that she sent to me and the convo before Sunday before i talked to her "father", but have kept all other voice mails and texts that the father has sent to me.

Terms of service on POF are no one under 18 so the profile had to be set at least at that age . Scam .

This is an International Website . With staff from all over the world including ; Europe , Oceana, Africa and North America . These scam profiles are constructed using stolen photographs and we do not know who precisely is constructing them and in my opinion neither does anyone else . Posts that seem to infer to the contrary should be edited . I realize that you are from the USA and are scared but I would ask you to substitute some of the language in your post that you made in haste .These are Fake Profiles made with stolen Photographs .

This happened to me recently as last night. A girl posted and we chatted on POF. She ended up asking to talk on phone. I sent her a normal photo, and she began texting, lots of typos and bad wording. I kept asking her age and shed ignore it. she ended up sending me dirty photos and kept begging me for one. I had a bad feeling about this so I wanted to see where this was going so I Sent her a photo I found on Tumblr, not one of me. She then kept sexting, I stopped talking to her and went to bed.

Low and behold today I get a call form a guy with a southern accent threatening me, asking was I married, and that his daughter was really 15. She broke his laptop and he needed 1150 to fix it. I thought to myself, now if this was a real father,would he ask for money, (which is extortion), or would he truly just report anything. I toldd the guy the girl on the profile was 26. He said oh it doesnt matter the websites dont care. He said he wanted me to green dot card him 250 today. He then told me his wife wanted to report me, but he held her off, and was keeping the daughters phone. He then texted me photos of the green dot cards. I proceeded to block his number and block his texts, then I went on about my day. Just letting yall know..

The profile on POF is SexyCindy. She has Fairfax listed on the profile.

He just called me again and said just text me and let me know something. I deleted my pof and will be changing my phone number.

Please beware of this, thank goodness I am not scared enough to think that a father would extort someone.

I was talking to this person on pof there age was in the twenties and we exchanged phone number. we exchanged pixs and then friday while laying in bed i get a text from 901-522-5830 saying i was texting his underage child and that his was was wanting to put me in jail and wanted $270. to turn off the cell at first but changed his mind and wanted a prepaid paid card with $270.00 I've blocked all my the numbers that they have contacted on me on . i called my local police station right when it happen. do i have anything to worry about or is this a scam too.

This is a well known scam . Terms of Service on POF are no one under 18 allowed . You need to follow the advice given on the first page and you may want to change your phone number .
