Subject: About me !!!
Hello
I am delighted to use this opportunity to tell you more about myself. My name is Steven Scott.I am 49 years old with a son of 12 years.
I went to the University of Jodan, where i was Olmsted Scholar and later moved to Harvard University.I join the US Miltary(U.S. War College)..I was then commisioned Lieutenant of Infantry upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, Class of June 1980.
My first love is the mountains, I love the snow. Second would be the ocean. I love to fish. I did get to go and fish in Alaska for seven days and I do mean seven straight days. Caught a lot of salmon, halibut and crab. It definitely was an adventure. I also enjoy cooking, painting, sewing, flea markets, gardening and experiencing anything for the first time. I absolutely love to laugh and I have a good sense of humor. I love Disneyland, especially with family. I look forward to RVing and seeing some of the country. One of these days... I definitely would love to do some traveling. I am always curious and looking for an answer. I like to fix things and am definitely handy. You dont know what you can do until you try??
I enjoy the country but my music taste is more classic vinyl/rock....go figure! Sushi is not to my taste but I love cooked cuisine at a good sushi place. I like a good salad, am not afraid to eat a steak and LOVE fresh fruit.
For fun I enjoy hanging out with family & friends, playing cards, board games, BBQs, gardening, walking the dogs, local day trip, beaches in Ventura County, farmers markets, movies.....I'm pretty open and like to try new things with a passion for adventure. Some of the best times in life are the simple things shared with special people.
Some of my favorite places are local hiking trails in the spring or after a good rain, the Grand Canyon, Muir Woods, northern California mountains, lakes & rivers, San Francisco. Places I'd love to go to but haven't been are Hawaii and Italy or ???.
I don't lie, cheat, and love being married. I have a wonderful honor-student son who told me it's time that I get a life and start going out. So, here I am.
I do like affection, hugging, hand-holding and kissing, even in public.
My ideal match honors family & friends, understands the mutual desire of putting your partner first, is not afraid to share her thoughts and feelings and is desirous of a deep intimate connection. She has a love of animals, is active with a sense of adventure, shares many of the same interests but is willing to explore interests we may not have shared in the beginning. She has a serious side and definitely knows how to have fun! She is a one man woman looking for a one woman man.
I abhor arrogance and tend to gravitate towards women who are honorable and humble. I am from a very traditional Catholic family, and still believe in gender roles, however along with that comes respect, honesty, and open communication. A nice mix of old-fashion values and making new traditions would be a great find. Everyone likes to eat, go to nice restaurants, etc., so I believe chemistry, values, and goals in life are what makes the difference. I have a wonderful profession, sometimes I work from home and I'm looking forward to using my free time to meet a special woman.
I love family and would have open arms for yours. I am hoping to find a woman who keeps her word, works through the hard times, and who strives to make sure hard times are few and far between. I believe meaningful relationships take work, yet loving the right one comes natural. I don't run away when times get tough, a couple should communicate and work together as equal partners
I don't have a desire to go skydiving, scuba diving (I'm scared) or do any crazy stunt. But I am the kind of man who supports and encourages you in all your adventures and I'll be your biggest cheerleader. If you play softball, football, or some kind of sport, I'll always be in the bleachers rooting for you. I believe two people can come together as one, but still be individuals. Let's spend time together, create a wonderful friendship and see where it goes. A solid foundation is key.
I will end here and hope to hear more about you.My regards to you
Steven
