Hi, just wanted to warn people of the latest scam I have come across. I have been talking with this Guy he calls himself Captain Williams C Dexter and is "on tour" in Syria. I have been talking to this guy for sometime now and according to him, he is single with one daughter of 12 who lives with his mother and sister in Australia. He said his wife died during child birth. He has very good English grammar, although from his wording he is not English. He has slipped up a couple of times while talking with me which set alarm bells ringing. He has now asked me to get in touch with the administration department to register as his fiancée so that he may leave to come and visit. I went along with this to get more information (which maybe I shouldn't have done) the Admin address he asked me to mail was [email protected] This automatically did not seem correct as it is an open email address. I messaged them any way and got this reply back :
I have now deleted his contacts and will no longer be talking with him. I hope this helps someone who might not be quite as aware as I was.
Your request to be registered as a fiancée to one of our officer on tour presently in Syria, Capt Williams C. Dexter...1st Battalion,33rd Infantry Regiment,3rd Brigade Combat Team,10th Mountain Division(light infantry) has been received, will be processed and forwarded to the welfare department for authorization when the charges attached has been paid.
