[img][/img]He goes by the name Charles Emmanuel. I found him on yahoo personals. He claims he is from Norway and an independent geologist. He has written all the classic nigerian scam email, like never using my name, always saying honey, baby, I love you, writes great poetry, claims to be God fearing, using "am" for I am, etc. I traced his IP address to 231 Adeola Odeku Str. Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria. His phone numbers are 011447045755429 and 011447011128338. He uses a picture of a very handsome man, looks like a model. His story is both his parents are dead,he is widow of 5 yrs, he has no siblings, he had a daughter that supposedly died while I was chatting with him, everytime I asked to meet in person, he had to fly to London for business, and hesays he is rich and wants to take care of you. Confesses his love for you and then begins to have problems. I have to admit that I fell for it, even though I felt some red flags, he spoke very well and got my confidence. I am trying to upload the pics he uses but having a hard time during so as I am not computer savvy and cant quite figure it out. His first email was [email protected]. I could kick myself for being so gullable and stupid but I hope I can help someone else from being caught up in this whole scam mess. If anyone can help with trying to upload the pics I have it would be greatly appreciated. I only wish I had known about this before my anguish, after telling a friend about him and sent her his pics thru email, she was the one that told me about this site, and my heart just sand after reading all the scams and words that are used.
Thank You

Dear Baby,
I do not know how to express the conflicting emotions that have surged like a storm through my heart all night long. I only know that first and foremost in all my thoughts has been the glorious confirmation you gave me last night - without effort, unconsciously, of course - of all I have ever thought of your mind and heart.

You have the greatest soul, the noblest nature, the sweetest, most loving heart I have ever known, and my love and admiration for you have increased so much since we’ve known each other that it still amazes me.

You are more wonderful and lovely in my eyes than you ever were before; and my pride and joy and gratitude that you should love me with such a perfect love are beyond all expression.

Love Always,

Charles.........

Thanks everyone for helping me post pictures. I really appreciate this site and forum, I only wish I had known about this before I lost 10k in this scam. But I fell for it and I have learned a valuable and expensive lesson. I just pray and hope that no one else gets scammed from this guy or anyone for that matter. I googled the guy, but had no idea about checking his IP address, esp since Im not computer savvy. I found nothing on him in google so I began to believe him, he has obviously been during this for awhile, bc he had decent answers to my questions, which threw me off. But thank goodness for friends, who had told me about this site. it was just too late for me. Everytime I had a red flag and asked questions about it he gave a good answer. So please, everyone, please, watch out and if you have a gut feeling about anyone then follow your gut, bc it will ALWAYS be right.

I'm sorry you lost so much money to this scammer, and unfortunately I am sure you now realize there is no way to get it back. If you receive any contact from someone claiming to be an official who can get him arrested and/or get your money back, be aware that this is just another scam (called a "recovery scam".)

But, you did learn from your experience, and you chose to make the best of the situation and try to help others to avoid the same pitfalls. If and when you choose to continue online dating, you will be much better prepared and aware!

I am so sorry to read your posting and story behind your scammer. I posted my story here just over two weeks ago and now avidly read updates on other postings from others using this site. I find it really helps me. Everyone wants to love and be loved, and yes there were warnings for me too but the slick replies given to me were so convincing and I wanted to believe them.
Some of your postings of emails received from your scammer are word for word identical to those I received from my scammer and reading them again makes me hate my scammer even more! And that makes me stronger!
I just wanted you to know that there are people like me here, who have been through very similar experiences.

Yea You feel so stupid, and too embaressed to talk about it to ANYONE! But after reading ALL the other scams from people, it makes me feel better also, kind of like therapy. Not better bc someone got scammed but better that I dont feel all alone in this. All I wanted was to find someone online that I could build a relationship with and I got this instead, and I was so reluctant at first to even do online dating but my friends convinced me bc they found some good guys. Well, now I am so despondent. If your heart is right you believe more than you should, and all that stuff that guy wrote sounded really good, and all the answers to my questions were so convincing. When my friend told me about this site after I had already sent the money, I started reading all the posts and my heart just sank bc I could not believe that it happened to me. So now I get on here everyday and read hoping I can help someone from being a fool like me. Thanks for writing

I understand what you are feeling as I was scammed. I followed advice on here to go to http://www.419eater.com There I was advised it wasn't wise to keep on baiting him. I was advised to post his information and let others on the site bait him, because I was too angry and looking for revenge. There is a lot of information on that site if one decides to bait scammers.
