[email protected] is a scammer

Hi have had a brief relationship with this scammer. After reading these posts I am relieved that I did not send the MoneyGram he wanted me to send for a Satellite phone. His story was that he worked on an Oil Rig in the Caspian Sea, and the only way to continue to speak to each other was a private satellite phone. He was very convincing, even sent me 2 dozen flowers!!

The name he used was Mark Alexander, from Scarsdale NY on OkCupid

Im lucky I dodged this bullet, but the pain of having intimate conversations with a scammer is saddening.

Thank you for posting this. Same guy, same email, same story. He found me on Zoosk. I was suspicious all along thankfully but he sure was charming. I was in NY and wanted to meet for coffee and never heard from him again when I pushed the meeting ( he was "home on a 4 month break from the rig taking classes on how to run a hotel") So I figured he was lying about stuff, but Never did I think a scammer. So Thank You for posting this!!

Dating cites are loaded with scammers from personal experience. I am not saying everyone on the cites are scammers but be careful when engaging in a dialogue with someone you have not met in person.
