Even Gay men are being victimized by this so-called US army

So I was chatting w/ someone from a gay dating/hook up site. This dude introduced himself as Ssgt. Ben Jones from the US Engineering in Afghanistan, so we had a good conversation via emails. In short, I fell in love with him. Until one day, He told me that he got thousands of dollars in cash and a gold that was given to him by a sultan as a gratitude for saving the life of his wife and daughter. Now, he wants to give it to me and use the money to buy a house so we could start a family. He wants my address, email ad and phone number and once he has it, he will give it to a diplomat and the diplomat will be in contact with me. So, i just wondered, why the hell are u giving me a large amount of money and gold that u don't even know me personally. So, I google it and this website pops out and i found this kind of scam. I felt bad, as i thought i already found my behalf, but still I'm thankful I did not fall to this scammer. Shame on him for using our hero's picture. I do believe that Karma is a Bitch! Just message me guys if u want to see the pictures he was using.

I'm sorry you were caught up with scammer, but I'm glad you wisened up to the scam before losing more than your heart. I hate the romance scammers because they take a lot more than just money from their victims.

Can you post some of the emails you received from him (with your personal information removed) and any email addresses/phone numbers he may be using? Any information you can provide may help prevent another victim.

I have fallen victim to the same scam via Facebook, the guy is using the name DARWIN GARCIA. I'm not sure where it was that I was supposed to get scammed but now that you have posted some exact phrases that he used I know that his professed "love" for me is the real scam here.....So sad that people are using the US Military to scam people. In all honesty I never really believed this guy in the first place but I thought maybe I'd play around with it for a while and see, maybe he'd prove me wrong. I actually got pissed and threatened to report him to his Superiors one time already but now I think I'll just post his FB account all over and warn people. But anyway man don't feel bad I was beginning to have feelings for the guy too and everything looked so legit his photos didn't look fabricated or anything they were regular old pics. I'm going to try to have this guy persecuted if I can.....anyways can I see the pics you have? This is the one he used with me .......
