Fake. Officers in the US military do not write like West Africans, soldiers do not ask outsiders to apply for their leave, and soldiers have access to their money.

Please post the name of the fake soldier and all email addresses and website URLs involved.

This is a scam. Only the soldier can request leave for themselves - not girlfriends, boyfriends, partners, or even their spouse. And it certainly wouldn't be done through free email accounts. Military never have to pay for their leave, it is automatically earned by their service. Everything else in that email is untrue, too, and made up by the scammer with the sole purpose of stealing your money.

PLEASE DO NOT TELL A SCAMMER HE IS REPORTED HERE!

welcome to scamwarners, Retta. as VX and Tim have said this is a scam, stop contact with the scammer ( and the other scammers in this charade ( in reality they are all one guy playing different roles in this show).

Do not confront the scammer with his lies. He will only lie more.

Please post all of this scammer's email addresses he has been using to try and fool you into paying 10K for something soldiers earn as they work each day.

See this article about this type of scam, and even the footnote articles at the bottom for your knowledge.
