thanks for telling me this much about you, you stated you work in finance can you elaborate on that please if you dont mind? What do you wish for in a relationship?
What I wish for in a relationship (in no particular order) just inclusive in short form:
Sense of humor - remember to laugh - we can be serious as needed.
We believe in endless possibilities - together we can conquer the world or face any challenge avoiding as many obstacles as possible.
Teammate - recognizing that no one person can do it all alone or carry all of the weight, but as "our" own team "we" can do it better together.
Flexible - nothing in life is absolutely set in stone - occasionally a plan may change or derail, but "our" path remains smooth.
Neat and Clean - disorder causes confusion which may lead to a lack of direction.
Appreciation - appreciation of our "individual" and "couple" accomplishments - neither is taken for granted. Sometimes we may need to remind ourselves that we are doing well and appreciate "our" relationship.
Respect - when we carry ourselves in a dignified manner we can only acquire respect. We take in and give back respect in turn.
Understanding - asking questions is how we acquire knowledge and understanding. Open communication; we must agree to disagree.
Goals - goals are blueprints towards action, this allows "us" to look forward to taking action to move "our" lives forward. We work "together" toward the goal.
Happiness - true happiness brings forth an internal "tingling" which one acquires as the result of pure joy.
Security - we support each other, we lend an ear, we provide a shoulder but mostly understanding.
Silence- sometimes quiet time will allow us to collect our thoughts and we may need to restore our sense of emotional balance.
Parenting - show by example what a family circle entails including love, support, encouragement and an occasional disagreement, but above all else, "love and respect".
Commitment - commitment is a mutual agreement. The complexity of shared togetherness requires not only love but a willingness to create a joint spirit, a true partnership in life.
Hard Work - "we" will equally do what is necessary to secure our future both emotionally and financially. Having financial security allows certain freedoms (i.e. travel, shopping (lol), etc.).
Trust - we must never forget just how valuable trust really is in our lives, trust and honesty should be considered as sacred bonds.
Change - we must be open to change. Change is a continuous process and a part of life's adventure.
Romance - a special bond, showing "our" mate how important and how special they are in our life. Romantic gestures can come in the simplest forms or certainly can be over the top. Romance reminds "us" why we fell in love.
