Information on romance scams and scammers.

Hi, I was recently involved in a romance scam. Fortunately I did not loose any money. I am wondering if any of the poor men and women who's photos are stolen so to speak , and are used as the face of the scammer are ever contacted and informed that there images are being used to try to scam people, particularly photos that contain somebody's child in them? Thank you. :)

There is no point in contacting the people who's photos are being used - there is nothing that they can do about it and they may well not appreciate a total stranger contacting them.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

If my pictures were being used in any scam, i would appreciate if somebody contacted me. At least i know that i have pictures out there being used and will find ways to take precaution. That my two cents worth.

If they are being used how would you stop that?

Would you want thousands of people contacting you weekly by email, phone, snail mail or dropping by to say hello?

Send photo's to people you have met face to face.

They would also contact your friends and family.

Protect your social media.

Please contacta moferatorstor if you have a question or information about this post.

Please do not tell the scammer he is posted here.

Here's the response someone got recently when they decided to play private detective to track down and invade someone's privacy to tell them their photos were being used.
