His writing skills is of an West African not someone from the US and a Sgt in the military.

He is saying that he is in West Africa. The scammer is telling the truth here. This is where he will want you to send your money.

Yes, stop all contact with the scammer. Do not direct him here. Do not tell him how you know he is a scammer. We don't want to educate these stupid scammers.

I have a follower on Twitter his name is Carl Roman. Not sure if it's the same guy.We have been talking for a while, now I'm nervous not sure if it's the same guy. What do I do?? We text everyday. He is in the military in Syria he says

He's a scammer. If he really was in the military on deployment then he wouldn't be spending his spare time texting with radom people from the Internet. He would be contacting his loved ones back home.

Just block him and do not respond to him any further.
