I am the only child of my late parents, i was born in New Hampshire in 1959 and raised in Berwick, Maine. I graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1981.
I was the commander of the XVIII Airborne Corps from 2012 to 2013. I previously served as the Commanding General, United States Army Forces Command from May 2013 to August 2014, and presently i am the 35th Vice Chief of Staff of the United States Army. I assumed my current role on August 15, 2014.
I went on to serve overseas in South Korea, Grenada, Egypt, Panama, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan as a combat infantryman and a master parachutist where i got so many awards and decorations.
I lost my mom when i was still in the military school, and my dad died just when i became a 4 star military general of the U.S Army.
in the military we have rules and regulations that keeps the military going and every member of the U.S army must apply it
it is not yet time for my vacation because i just came back from my vacation last two months, so it is not yet time for the United Nations to give me another vacation on their own unless next year
but if i write to the United Nations now and apply for an urgent vacation to come out from here it will be granted to me because of my rank in the military, but i will have to be the one to care for my flight expense myself without the help of the United Nations
if the United Nations were to give me a vacation on their own then they will have to provide a flight for me to come out from here
but if i happen to be the one who apply for an urgent vacation then i will have to take responsibilities of my flight expense
Now with the situation of this country now i will not be able to care for my flight expense from here because the country is not stable at the moment, banks and other business are all closed down here in Kabul and so there will be no means for me to send money to the military Agent who will book for a safe flight for me to come out from here
in the military we have doctors, nurses, military agents, the job of the military agent is to make sure he books a safe flight for any of the United State Generals who may be going on vacation so that they can get to their destinations safely
so if i apply for an urgent vacation now it will be granted to me, but i will have to make plans on my ticket expense before i apply for my vacation, the United Nations can only appoint me an agent who will book for my flight for me, that is the best they can do if i apply
so i dont know if we could have this worked out so you could take care of my flight expense for me to come out from here, and i will pay whatever amount you spent on the ticket i will pay it back to you when we get over to XXX

this is the only problem i have applying for a vacation by myself, but if you could care for my flight expense just for me to come out from Afghanistan and get over to the State to pick my Daughter and come to you before the exams then i will quickly write to the United Nations and apply for an urgent vacation so i could come out from here.
if i write to the United Nations today and apply for my vacation i will get a reply from them with my approval letter before monday

the agent also sent me a mail to tell me that he has just been informed by the United Nations that he is the one to book for my flight for me
he told me that he is currently in the United Kingdom at this moment, so the money for the flight ticket should be sent to him in the United Kingdom
