The English says it all--definitely not American, mistakes and phrasing scream African. While there are many signs, I don't want to post them here in case a scammer finds this thread--however, I will say that one of those signs is the "cancer of the breast" you identified. Americans will not say it that way--Africans will.

For some reason when we see NNFMP in the headers, the original IP is lost and the email will trace to yahoo. NNFMP is frequently tied to scammers and spammers, but occasionally it appears in "legitimate" emails, so alone it would not be sufficient to declare this person scammer.

It is even possible that it is your original scammer trying a new name and new approach--scammers have done that numerous times.

Sweet thats what I thought.. thanks so much.. wish I found u a month ago i could still buy the new couch I need.. funny thing is I had a 3rd military guy as well name is Jerry Huston email [email protected] contact me at the same time as these 2 but when I ip him he did come up Nigeria so I droped him like a hot potatoe....but I got an IM from him yesterday out of the blue saying he missed me..
I have no more info on him cause I deleted it all but if i get it I will post

Afghanistan. His photo's are on your Wall Of Shame.I did not have money to send for his leave so they gave me a job with the Financial Accounts Division, (so I thought this was real)When I filled out the paper work they sent me I had a job to do within a week,It was picking up money from Western Union and sending to another person in Nigeria. ect & ect.>

wow this is a shock!!! xxxxxxx@hotmail is my husband and his wife is not dead from 'cancer of the breast' I am very much alive. That poem was given to me 11 years ago on our wedding day. We have four kids. he is not the guy in those pictures. Hes short bald and 46 with 2 ex-wifes and doesn't even pay his support. I am shocked!!! that's all i can say right now.
