I've been talking to this guy he said his name was Josh Lebron and he said he was in the military in Syria And he said on one of his patrol he found this building with money and gold and he sent it to me and I had to pay for it to be shipped to me and I paid 2,650 then it didn't get shipped to me so then he asked me to ask for his leave and I don't know how much I gave him but then my tax money came so stupid me I gave it all to bring him home and now he said he's at untied states of emirate And I have to pay his hotel bill

Sorry to hear that. Please post the first few messages from the scammer, any message that asks for money, the message that tells you to contact someone for his leave, and any message that refers to a website that is owned by the scammer. Include the scammer's email addresses, but not your own. This will help others avoid it.

Soldiers do not pay for leave, nor can anyone outside the military ask for leave of someone inside the military. This is a scam.

Drop all contact with the scammer and don't tell him why.

I am sorry to read that your were scammed. I received a request from a military person who acquired some money and wanted to share it with me. I reported it to Scamwarners. I read somewhere that scammers are stealing identities of military personnel more and more. So unless you know the person report him and block him.
