Anyone knows Paul Cavendish?

I just received this e-mail:
I understand this email may be a surprise to you, as it is to me the fact that I am writing it, but I think if you do not try you will never know.

I obtained you name and ID from a dating site that I joined for a short while. but I did not enjoy it as I am a private person so I hope you do not mind that I am writing directly to you.
I am writing with the hope of instigating a friendly relationship at first and if all goes well and we are both happy with each other it may develop to something more than just friendship, but only time will tell that.
As I said I live in Melbourne, Australia and I am the Managing Director of a construction company, I fee that work has consumed to much of my life at the expense of my personal happiness and it is now time to find a loving relationship, which is something I miss very much.
I understand you do not have to answer this email but I hope you do, and if you can attach some photos of yourself that would be great and I will do the same when I respond.

I tried to track his e-mail IP address but I got the information: "No valid IP addresses could be found in the header you submitted."
I'm just wondering if this one might be one of "our" friends...

I answered his e-mail asking him: "tell me a bit more about yourself"...if I receive the standard answer I will post it here...

From what you posted. I would say scammer.

You will need to post his email address and pictures (marked stolen) for us to look into it.

Some email providers will not give you an IP location.

With the above information posted, there are members that may be able to say more.

He wants to move to gmail chat but I told him that at my work all chats were disabled...
I'm waiting for him to bit the hook and send the standard crap "love letters"...

The writing is better than most, but still shows grammatical signs of being written by a West African. Also, I don't know of any dating sites that give out member's email addresses, so if this was a direct email then he lied about where he got your address from.

Just keep in mind this site is to warn victims or potential victims.

I don't correct them...and I'm already taking working on 419... they actually told me to continue posting with you guys while I'm "healing" from my scammer...
