New here, just thought i'd go around some of the forums I could find to post this one up to warn people about.
The email used by this scammer is [email protected]
The email is typical from the start that sets off the red flags.
Hey! your name Static? I have a whole day spent at work. You have a rest today?
I attach a photo to the letter. If you have enough photos. I can send you more? In return! I would like to receive your photos. Ok?
I met you because I like your profile.
I would like you to answer some questions.
1 What are your plans for me?
2 for what purpose you were on a dating site Zoosk?
3 You want to meet with me? First, let's get acquainted? We get to know each other!
I am Ekaterina, I am 31 years. I work in a beauty salon, barber shop in. I spend most of their lives at work. Because of my busy schedule, I had no time left on the man's quest. Why are you still single? All women look only at the money and wealth? I'm right? Unfortunately, the world is now gone all the money. True love, even at this point no one appreciates. But I'm not like, I like the red Mustang 1985 issue, buyout dusty and in need of attention. Do you understand? I want to find a good man and true love! People say that to find someone with whom you're ready to spend the rest of his life, the Internet is simply unrealistic. But I heard a lot of stories about how people learn about the Internet, and often find their soul mate, my love! Build a family, have children, and live a happy life together! I believe in it. You believe?
I look forward to your response.
We are friends for? Now I'm your friend!
Ekaterina.
Normally, I'd ignore it since the person had a profile listed in the states and claimed to be from russia but for some reason, after seeing the photos I wanted to be able to shut them down and warn others away. Took a few weeks to find a multitude of social media sites they're stealing these photos from and I'll list them here so people can keep an eye out for future reference so as not to be fooled. The last email really cinched it like the joke the person is cause instead of listing their name in the letter as ekaterina, they put tatyana. More than likely out of confusion of who they were emailing from attempting to do this with multiple other people I imagine. If reverse image search doesn't turn things up just wait, they're doing photo flipping with some of the originals so they don't show up on google but they did start to turn up on xxxxx. Sorry if this is long winded for a first time post, but this person needs put on serious blast for what they're doing. If someone fell for it and actually traveled to russia to meet with them, they could end up out of a large sum of money and in serious danger and all over a pretty face. If this person isn't the one in the photos, they're as much a victim too. I would however not suggest contacting them if found, it would only make matters worse. Better to report this to the consulates and local authorities in both countries if someone actually did do something in that manner.

I don't know who this person is but they were the typical scammer albeit of the indirect sort. Did not demand or ask for money but left the option up in the air. When telling them you would come visit them in russia, they were open to the idea of such which presents an even larger danger for a petty scam. I suspect anyone that follows through on that with this person is opening themselves up to being kidnapped and sold as human traffic if not worse.
IP Address in the headers traced back to moscow, russia and this person claims to be from orenburg, russia.
