Someone is trying to scam me, please advise

Hi,

I was contacted a week ago on facebook by a man:
"I'm Raphael, a single dad, lost my wife at childbirth, not been easy keeping up "Dad and MOM" responsibility same time with a busy schedule but God's been good. I'm Spanish American, Engineer, in Greece at the moment though on contract."
I gave him the benefit of the doubt but 2 days in he was already proclaiming his love for me and said I was the perfect woman for him and Samantha his daughter. His "daughter" wrote to me from the following email:

I did a reverse image search and found that the pictures he was using on his FB page with the name Raphael Achebo were stolen from <removed link > MW

Unfortunately I confronted him with this and now the Raphael Achebo page is down from FB. However we are still in touch via email, his address is [email protected].

The last email I received was this :

"I've got boxes of gold with a company in the Gold Coast,currently they
intend merging with a different company, i was asked to either pick it
up or leave it with them while they merge,but i want it out. The plan
is having the company deliver the boxes to you, you keep it for me,
already 10% pay is yours when i come to pick the boxes. Now, i want to
trust you cause something tells me you're trustworthy although you
played me with your sister and boss but my heart chose you for me and
Sam so why can't i trust you. The question is; would you accept the
boxes please and keep for me? A kilo went for $40,368 today, i've got
about 10-15kilos in those boxes and i need them delivered before it
drops again. So, would you accept them for me? Let the
company/diplomat begin the whole process."

Unfortunately, do to my stupidity at the beginning, the guy (?) knows my real name, what town I live in, that I have a sister who has a baby, plus he had access to my pictures on my FB account.
Can you please advise on the best course of action?

The best thing to do is block him on Facebook and any other social media sites that you are connected on and also make your FB profile totally private so that only friends can see anything (and make sure that your friends really are people that you know in person). Then also ignore any further emails from him or phone calls and do not respond to him any further.

He will likely mail for a while until he decides to look elsewhere for a new victim.

Thanks, although that is quite common sense and I had actually already thought of it, I was expecting some more in depth advice.
Like I said, I blocked his FB profile and I think it's no longer active, but that won't stop him from starting fresh from another profile or using his still valid gmail address with which he is probably in contact with the other women who were "friends" on his FB profile. These women are older and more likely to fall for it.
I am half this guy's supposed age and not even interested. I wanted to help others...

he may try and reconnect using another profile. if you accepted the box of gold that would have given him opportunity to get money from you make sure your change your security settings on FB. I did that and I have not received any messages from scammers. I also clean my computer after using the internet.
