Hi all
Can I just say that this site is amazing it gave me useful information on the current scammer I have just caught out in the last week.
I received a request from a guy on a dating site. He seemed genuine until right from the start he started with his big speech
and asked for my email address. I have two email address one for professional use and the other for non professional use. So of course I use the non professional email as I knew he was a scammer.
His (or it could be a woman) name is Vartaan Ogle email address is [email protected] and he claims to be a Sgt currently serving in Sudan in Victory Camp (which I did google and looked on the American Army website) I found nothing of this name. He even has a facebook account with only two friend and claims to have only been in us army since April this year. He continue to woo me with his the passing of his wife 4 years ago and being a single dad to his son blah blah. I knew this was all fake so I continued to play along thinking this person is an idiot don't they realize that we can research all this stuff they are claiming to be etc. Our last contact was him giving me this email address [email protected] and state to them that i wish to marriage this guy and give my name and contact details. I have not heard from him since.
So thank you for the information on here if it wasn't for you guys I think i would of lost a lot of money.
