This despicable excuse for a human being found me on Tinder, followed me to Kik, and has now messaged me on Facebook.

He claims to have worked for the US Army, former Sgt., and now works for the SSA.gov

He also just told me that he's a special secret agent, working with the military in Nigeria. Yesterday? He was in Chad fighting terrorism.

And he told me this because believe in him.

I've searched his pictures online, and nothing ever comes back except his facebook profile.https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=100434230362854&set=pb.100011888310632.-2207520000.1468603382.&type=3&theater

At this point, I'm 99.9% certain he's a scammer... He actually got upset when I said it was too early for me to be "worried" because he's in a war zone... (Since his Tinder profile says he's only 45 miles away, not quite sure how worried I should be... and not about HIS safety!)

Anyway... I'll post his pictures up here as soon as I figure out how...!

Yesterday, before all the red flags started to go up, I asked him if he wanted to meet...

Him: I wish to but it's not the right time for me
Me: Ok. Can you tell me why?
Him: Honestly, I'm not in CT for now. I'm presently in Chad for investigation of terrorist

Him: Pet peeves:lying, can't stand that, chewing with mouth open, leaving big messes... Been on dating sites on and off for 1 year. Divorced 2 plus years.. Didn't really date before;my family comes first and my kids are still young so I am usually home.
I don't drink and I do swear on occasion. No it's ok if people swear unless it's every other word.
I do live my job and my family. My kids are my world.
Sad: Hard to say. My son is a cancer survivor. Was sad then now grateful. Mistreating children or animals make me sad. I worry about my kids all the time. I am Catholic and believe in God.

Me: What kind of food do you like?
Him: Pizza, spicy food, sushi, chicken Dislikes Olives and celery. Love pickles.

Me: You're in the army, right? I could go look on Tinder, but, I'm being lazy...
Him: What do you Mean? I work with the army

Then silence until this morning...

Him: Happy Friday. How's your day
Me: Better than yesterday. We had to lay off 12 people yesterday. It wasn't a good day. How's yours?
Him: It's good, but wasn't good yesterday we work overnight
Me: Must've been something in the air... Lots of bad juju out there.
Him: I'm brave man
Me: Or a crazy one! Lol!
Him: Huh
Me: There's a certain level of insanity involved in putting yourself in danger... Don't you think?
Him: I don't understand
Me: Most people work to stay safe. Others? Enjoy the danger, enjoy the rush of adrenaline. Depending on how much you enjoy it? There's a touch of insanity in putting your life at risk if you don't have to... It's a pretty common belief that risk takers are adrenaline junkies... :D :D :D

Him: Hey! Are you telling me I should stay safe or you worried about me Why don't you tell me directly
Me: Um... Neither. I'm just making conversation. Not for me to tell you what to do... And it's a little early for me to worry about you that way, don't you think?

Me: So, you work for the ssa?
Him: I'm special secret agent for US
Working with the military so I'm in Nigeria for state mission
I told you this because you believe in me.

Me: I see... But? You don't know me... and Wait... I thought you were in Chad? Fighting terrorists?
Him: Yes. Chad is in Nigeria
Me: Chad is a country. Not a city.
Him: anyway it's derived from Nigeria
Me: I see... So you're a special secret agent for the SSA, working in Nigeria with the military... And how long have you been over there?
Him: 6months

It's almost killing me to not ask how long the Social Security Administration has had anti-terror "Special Secret Agents" who don't know the first thing about the geography of their assigned territory on their payroll...!! 8)

Please do not educate the scammers.

This will only make it harder for future victims. We like for them to make mistakes. This way any victim can see right through the scam.
