Please help me ! I met mark harrison through an online dating site.he was okay at first,he told me he's a retired US navy.he sounds credible but something tells me that he's not telling the truth.help me find out if he's really teing the truth before I meet up with him

It is impossible to tell for sure from just an email address. Please post some of the emails and messages that he has sent you.

Also, please post links to the profile on the dating site and any social media sites that he has given you.

I met him through tagged.com but I think he already quit the site.can't find his profile there.I'll be posting some of his emails.

Thanks, the language used in the emails show that they were written by a West African and not an American, so he is a definite scammer.

The reason that his profile has disappeared is that it was probably reported as fake by another victim and the site deleted it.

The best thing to do is block him and don't respond to him any further. Don't accuse him of being a scammer, just disappear and leave him wondering what happened.

i will definitely do that.i'll keep you posted about this. because of my carelessness,i gave him my address and my phone number,my bad i know.

Hi Aya,
it is really good that you followed your head to check out this person who is indeed a scammer. They love to use wonderful language to draw us in and hope we don't figure out it is all just to eventually get money from us. Please don't try to contact him and, if he contacts you, ignore him. He will plead with you how he is real and everything all others say is a lie. It is a sad truth that we have to protect our hearts this much when all we want is to find someone to be with.
And for the record, he says he will come to be with you but that will never happen. I had many beautiful dreams of my scammer coming to be with me, start a new life, and it was all just a beautiful lie. You deserve better than that
