I have a buddy that is in deep with a guy she has never met. All the signs are there:
She is 62 female with money
He is a business man in the import/export of coffee business
He is widowed with a son who claims to live nearby
His LinkedIn profile names a company that sells insurance in South Africa
His headquarters are in Palm Beach
Early on ee told her his bank account had been compromised and wondered if she could change his password
He says he is in the Philippines and claims some local spiked his coffee with illegal drugs
He provided proof of the customs fine, it looked phony and Philippine customs validated as fraudulent
The Philippines has no tolerance for drug smugglers, he's still there
She said she wasn't going to give him any money and he reassured it wasn't her problem
When presented with the phony customs form he got angry that I snooped
The "fake love letters" are filled with talk about their true love, destiny, God, passion and written in gooey prose.
I gathered he has a drinking problem that only her love will keep him straight
She gets mad at anyone who tries to tell her he is a scammer
The IP address I had problems finding
What does this guy want from her?
She said no money. Can he hack into her account? Or steal her identity?
I privately snoop because she won't ask him anything to validate his identity.
Even fake love is blind,
Thank you
