Hello all.
Thanks to your site I found out that a pretty young lady apparently from the USA is actually a scammer.
Fact is, I live on the web for more than 30 years so I know when something smells weird, began to search for text and so I came across scamwarners where someone luckily posted a sample letter that had just arrived in my mailbox!
This case is about Sandra Danyin, saying that she lives in Bellingham (WA) USA. She (or he) contacted me on "Amorenlinea", the same site as "Oasis".
I had already searched for the girl's name and found other dating sites where she is active, namely Mamba Online dating, google+ and she even has a profile on stackexchange.com.
I also did a reverse picture lookup, but that yielded no results.
As said I finally found out about her by searching for a string of text from the email she sent me, will include it here:
She has some goog looking pictures, I could upload them somewhere if someone asks for it.
For now, simply look on the Mamba page to see her fotos, while they last.
I guess as soon as he/she finds out that he/she has been uncovered, the photos may change or be removed altogether.
Being probably a Nigerian scammer, he/she is incredibly stupid to contact someone from Colombia (that's me) where a monthly salary is about 200 dollars. It would have been impossible for me to wire any amount of money, would I have fallen into the trap that is.
I really hope this helps other people, please NEVER send money to someone you only know from the web.
If something seems to good to be true, well....It is.
