UN military leave

Hi, I have recently been corresponding on line, mostly with Whatsapp with someone who says he is a reservist Military Doctor and who is currently in Syria on a deployment contract for UNMO in attaché to the USA Military. He has just told me that there is an opportunity for a 6 week leave over Christmas to come and see me but says because this is not official leave, that it will cost around £1150, which will be refunded once he arrives here. He says he is a divorcee from Florida, but is this all rubbish? His email address is [email protected]

It is a scam. Military do not pay for their leave and only the military member can request leave. There's no such thing as "not official leave". Please post the emails with your personal information removed and his whatsapp number to help warn others.

I have had the same whatsapp conversations with this guy, word for word nearly the same, though he told me its £800 and I have to see about applying for a loan tomorrow for this which will be reimbursed by the UN when he is over here?
