I was on a dating site uniformdating.com. And I got a hit from a gorgeous man. We started talking on the site and he asked me for my email. I have home one I don't use much. I asked him to send me pics of him and his daughter he did. I sent him some of mine. And the romance started. He said he was a ranger who died helicopters and in a peace assignment in Libya. He told me about his whole ice. His parents had died 25 years ago in a car accident had a horrible marriage that ended in divorce 3 years ago. He had a beautiful daughter. And he had so many pics. Never asked me for money. But my friend had me weary when i started getting text after
I have him my cell. His number was 312-509-9081. It would say ts2 military device after every text. We googled and came up with horror stories. I then asked him to send me a pic of what he was doing right now and he send me. Then I asked him to take a pic with a paper and my name on it or to take off his shirt cause he had tattoos and he was I am at work and he said later. Then said that it was a lot to ask and find someone else. He sounded offended at my request and said I should find someone else. I believe it was a scam. Although he sent so many nice pics. His yahoo email was [email protected]

The person in the pictures is a victim of the scammer also.

He does not want to be bothered by 100's of women on a weekly basis. Allow him to live his life in peace.

If you try to find the real person you will most likely find another scammer using his photo's or the original scammer using them with a different name.

What about the real person in the photos? I really feel like I need to know who the real person is and speak to him/her.

This is a very common reaction when you have been communicating with a romance scammer. For weeks, months, or even a year or more, you have been seeing photos (and sometimes video) of the person who is supposedly in contact with you. It is very normal to start to feel like you have a connection to the person in the photos, or to start to believe the person in the photos is really the person you are looking for. But in reality, the person in the photos has absolutely no connection to the scammer or to you, and is very likely nothing like the person the scammer pretended to be. The scammer simply found a set of photos on the internet that would suit his purpose, copied them to his computer, and started using them. He has never met the real person in the photos. The good news is that the scammer does not generally have the information needed to steal that person’s identity.

The real person is very possibly married, involved, unavailable or simply uninterested. He or she may not welcome contact from a stranger who has been scammed by someone using his/her photos, and may see it as an intrusion into his/her personal life. In some cases, victims have located and contacted the real person, only to be hurt more when the real person responded poorly to the contact. Even if you find the real person in the photos and make him/her aware the photos are being used, there is nothing that person can do. The scammer has saved those photos, and there is no way to get them back. By contacting this person, you may very well be causing him or her stress since he/she can’t control the situation at this point. As a general rule, trying to locate and contact the real person is NOT recommended.

This gentleman is actually lives in xxxx with a xxx company. He has been a victim of stolen identity with his pictures from Facebook! They actually have a write up and small news clip relating to Scammers using his identity along with his daughter. I hope this gives you some type of closure because it did for me! My best wishes-God's Speed!
