I worked out east Africa because of the +2 time zone but I stand corrected.May I suggest, as I also had a few phone conversations with him that he might be from Kenya Tanzania or such like? His accent was definitely African so I asked him where he was born. The answer was bovine manure.

Why.. most South Africans think that I have lived there or sound like one. Many Brits think that, too. I have a Dutch accent but I am 99% fluent in English. He never noticed a thing. I even let him guess where I am from and he got it totally wrong.
He pretended to be an electrical engineer who installs solar power water heaters and panels. I AM an electrical engineer and I was not impressed with his knowledge Also, he told me that his 'speciality 'in university in australia had been solar power. How can a 52 year old have had this as a speciality? I asked what else he had done.. only this he said. Strange, that somebody with that background knows absolutely nothing about alternative energy in my country of residence, it is world famous for that.

He posed on connecting singles and I will certainly after two experiences drop the single thing. The first one was so dumb that I didn't even answer.

I had set another two trick questions...would you like to come for a visit I will pick you up from the airport.. but I used the neighbouring country's capital. Nobody from the pacific coast would get that wrong, he pretended to be from Oregon and didn't know the difference between L..and M.......
