Fun, outgoing, well-spoken, honest to a point of fault, Pennsylvania roots, compassionate, witty, conversant, and a very strong moral compass. I am passionate about many things: Independent movies, working out, biking,US and world travel (been to all 50 states and 7 continents), interesting day trips, hiking (don't worry, if you're not into hiking I have friends to do that with), sports cars, live music, community service, NPR, New Yorker magazine, art exhibitions (I get to most of the DC museum shows before they close), theater, playing the piano, Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, trying new restaurants, getting to know a new person, spending quality time with friends and family, and enjoying the simple things that life has to offer. I'm basically a nice, normal guy.

My ideal relationship consists of caring, giving, trusting, putting the other person first, romance, trying new things, consistency, compromise. Seeking eventual life partnership with a fairly calm, expressive woman who can talk, listen and wants to share affection, humor and kindness. Family is #1.
