My full name is Larry Hans Edwards and i work for the US army as an E-6 staff sergeant. I have been working for the army for the past 30 years and looking forward for retirement soon.I have been on 2 separate overseas peace keeping missions. My first one was in Iraq and it lasted through 2008-2011 and this is my second and final mission in the army. I have been here for the past 24 months and I have just about 65 days to return home for good. I was married for 18 years with a son . I want to love and be loved again as life is too short for us to let the past rule.I feel it's about time i take that bold step now that am coming out of the army i feel it's the right time for me to pour my all out as i still believes there is someone for everybody and all we need to do it to keep trying
Our marriage was very fruitful and full of joy, love and happiness but not until i was deployed for my first peace keeping mission in Iraq. She cheated on me and eventually got pregnant.All this happened while i was away and she went ahead to get the pregnancy aborted. But there is a saying that nothing can be hidden under the sun and we better watch out to what we do in the dark.Trust me that i had wanted to keep the marriage after all this happenings because i loved my family,but there was something more to that which broke my heart. She got involved with friends who were alcoholic and started doing drugs. The entire divorce started in April 2010 but all the paper works were done in 2011.
Honestly, i have not dated after my divorce because it was hard letting the past go. When i fall in love, i pour out my all to make it work perfectly but i haven't been lucky enough to get all the love and affection i have always given. It was my best friend Jake who introduced me on that dating site.. He is a success on there with a woman he met on there in 2013.. They dated for a year and have been married for 2 years now so i thought i would also give a try and see how this whole thing works. It's my first time and it does not feel like the traditional way we meet people at the shopping malls, parties, churches, pud and so no but am open to new things and i want to give my all out with hopes that i will meet a like minded person who share the same interest with me
I was originally born in Tampa Florida and did live almost my entire life there. I move to Irvine,CA when i was stationed in March ARB. I have full custody of Mickey my son and he is with my sister in Tampa Florida. She have been there for me all this while and i consider myself to be lucky to have a wonderful sister. My Dad was in the air-force and turn into a lieutenant but i we lost him to cancer in 2004, he was 88 years and my mom who was a real estate agent/broker-Associate for RE/MAX CHAMPIONS also died in 2011. It was a very hard time for me then, because that was the same time i was going through my divorce. There is a saying that what doesn't kill you will eventually makes you stronger.I have come very far above all odds and betrayals i have been through. I haven;t given my myself the chance to love again because i don't want anyone to take advantage of my life again.
I am a very open minded person, someone who accepts people as they are, I am a fair individual who adapts to changes in life and enjoys life to the fullest,and looking to meet a woman that i can spend the rest of my life with in good times and in bedtimes as well, A woman that I can love and cherished with all my whole being and heart .
