It is a scam. Real military members do not have to pay for communication and no one would be asked to pay to communicate with them.

Please post the emails and names/phone numbers of the scammers in order to help warn others. Stop all communication with them, do not tell them you reported them here.

====================================
PLEASE DO NOT TELL A SCAMMER HE IS REPORTED HERE!

He isn't, he will have stolen the photos from someone's social media account or similar.

"usmarinescorptransig dept" isn't an email address. Please post the full actual address - his other victims may be searching for it.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hello!

As others have said, this is definitely a scam! Glad you have asked us here!
Like it has been said, U.S. military doesn't require family members or friends to pay for their communications, also consultant.com is not real military email. U.S. military does not use consultant.com as it belongs to a commercial subject and not the goverment.

Thank you for posting the full email address here! It is really helpful for any future victims that can find and reach this site.

Never tell scammer he is listed on this site.

If you find out person you are communicating with is listed here: stop all contact with the scammer
