Hello everybody, I would like to share this recent experience that I had which is somehow parallel to what I have read about military scams online. I met this guy on dateinasia website where he posted a photo of a US military man as himself. We exchanged messages through hangouts since December 22, 2016. I have a suspicion that he is definitely not from the USA since his vocabulary and grammar is off the hook. However, I continued to communicate with him since he promised to meet me next month and promised a lot of things like marriage and moving to the USA with him. On January 13, 2017, he messaged me on my email that he will be sending me a package because they will be assigned from Afghanistan to Syria. So they were instructed by their General to "dispose" all important things ASAP. He indicated in the email the things he included in the package. He told me that there will be an agent who will contact me once the package arrives at my country, and that it will be delivered through a diplomat because he said that he does not trust couriers to deliver his package. He said it contains three laptops, one DSLR camera, gold ring, gold necklace, flat screen LG tv with a stashed money inside worth 85,000USD. I was stunned by the thought that he would immediately trust someone to send this items at once. So I thought to myself that this is something fishy and I have to research about this further. Note that he even indicated on his email that I should and must not tell anyone about "our plan"... the plan where I collect the package and meet him on the 28th of February. On monday, January 16, 2017 I received a call from a woman who instructed me to do a bank deposit with an amount of 380USD, which is a tax fee for the customs since they hold the package due to the amount equivalent of the declared items inside the parcel. So last night I researched online about diplomats delivering packages/parcels. To my surprise, I was redirected to this website where similar stories appeared.
I thank God I didn't fall prey for this group of people scamming innocent people!
I immediately blocked all means of communication from the guy.
Beware they have actual people accomplice to their scam locally in the Philippines. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Awareness is a huge help for people like me who almost became a victim of this scamming scheme.

The scammer uses this name:
