[email protected] Julia Osipova Lovely looking lady from Kovalevka Russia. Will tell you that she is looking for love. Soon will be time for vacation, and she can get a visa within a week. She will agree to travel at her own expense, flatter you with scripted letters designed to flatter you and divert your attention from the lack of proof. After you get emotionally involved an "incident" will come up requiring funds with a deadline and you will be asked to HELP by wiring money by Western Union. She was SO GOOD at this game that I actually wired MORE than was asked for. She is really great at making you feel sorry for her. Only AFTER I had sent $650 did I start scouring the internet to check her out because she didn't come up on the passenger list of the flight she said she was going to take to come to the U.S. PLUS she wanted MORE MONEY that she supposedly had to SHOW officials so she could get permission to leave. Money was supposedly for her living expenses while she was abroad. She promised to give me back the money when she got to the airport, but as we KNOW, that was to never happen. So I checked and found out all my emails were actually FORM LETTERS that appeared on other scammer sites. Her friend is Darja Belova aka [email protected]. If you google Darja you will find they are both using similar letters and scams. I put the name in here so that it would come up on a search. This report is primarily about Julia Osipova.

Here is a photo she claims is herself (Julia Osipova), and her friend Darja (Darja Belova [email protected])

Here are some pictures she had emailed to me claiming they are of her:

The best way I have found to check for scammers is to google both their email address, name if you have it, and some lines from one of their letters. If it is a form letter it may come up and you can see that it was NOT written from the HEART as you thought it was.

You fell on that one too? She cost me 550 dollars for the same thing you went through. She was supposed to come to Atlanta the 30th and "she got hit by a robber in the airport after the robber snatched another woman's purse" We have been victimized

Just between YOU, ME, and the other guy who replied, she got over $1500- It was a good lesson to me, though- I became obsessed how I, who THOUGHT I was an intelligent person- could be so DUPED by this ludicrous scam. The emails are carefully enginerred by a psychologist-to make you FEEL like you are immersed into a loving relationship- she just kept getting greedier and greedier- I dropped off at the same point as you- that emigration shit- TOO MUCH. For a girl who ORIGINALLY agreed to pay her own way- and now she was getting too good a taste of my money.

I know how to check -em out now- I can find a phoney or a scammer within 11 minutes, and in some cases before we even say HELLO.

If you are still searching the junk pile for that proverbial "good tire in the junk pile" and you need some tips PM me and I'll give you what I know on how to check out suspicious ones- or better yet, ALL. I now consider those who have a HINT of honesty as the suspicious ones, all the others are GUILTY until proven innocent in my book. I have not found an HONEST online female yet. Maybe it's because I go for the ones with the professional pictures- they are almost always photos stolen from the internet. I am a professional photographer myself. I guess if we went for the ugly ones or the poor quality pictures, our chances of finding someone would be greater.

You have not sent any picture why I should send you my pictures?
I do not know why you speak about scam. You prefer to think that if woman
seeks a man not in the own country it means that she is potential
criminal? If you think so, it saddened me. I am not such. If you do not
like Russian people, just tell me that I am not for you. But why you talk
to me as if I am person without conscience? I have written to you because
I wanted to find a friend or more, man with other mentality than here.
You talk as if I should prove that I am worthy to talk to you.
I did not give a case to think about me such things. I am simple
woman but I as well have the pride.
Darja.

I just got this email from her, how can we go after her?

I have been corresponding with her since July. I had this scammer pegged from the start; however, I enjoyed playing along with the scam to give them hope that I would send them money. Like all the others, I got high quality pictures, some already posted on this site, and personalized letters. This person called themselves "Darja", and like the other letters, she claimed to have a friend.

Like someone posted, you have to google email to get a hit on a scam. But word of caution, as soon as they mention wiring money, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES or play along and say you just lost your job and you need them to wire you money for you to visit them....anyhow, this was a distraction for me in the mornings on my way to work and coming home in the evenings answering letters. My young, hot girlfriend got a kick of my letters to Darja.
