Hello!
I am sure I have just uncovered a scammer on Instagram. He contacted me out of the blue and was very friendly and charming (of course). He claims to be from Texas with a 4 year old daughter but deployed with the US Army in Ghana on a peace keeping mission. He shouldn't be talking with anyone so that's why we can't talk on the phone or anything.
One of "lines" he used has come back as a hit on several different sites under all different names (including this one under Sgt. Richard Nelson).
The line is:
I enjoy slow or fast dancing, walking in the woods holding, hands, candlelight dinners, travel, shopping and watching movies, and playing romantic piano for that special person. I love snuggling and sharing passionate kisses with that special person... i enjoy swimming alot, dinners watching movies cuddling with the one i love spending time with family and friends and just being with the one i love and doing whatever it is they want too do
He has also used a line about his parents which came up as well on a couple sites:
Its a long story to tell and touching that make me share tears whenever i remembered the past.I will keep this short,i came out from a good combination of two,my Mom is from Usa while Dad is a Spainish.I am the one and only child of my parent, i will count it ,I have a big Family because i dont know much about my Moms family in the Us while my Dads part is very small...Unfortunatly i lost my parent sameday, sametime, same moment by a car accident,

He asked me to send him some money today because they don't have sufficient food or anything there and they don't get paid from the deployment until they return (but he doesn't know when it will end. Military always say when it will end).
I can tell English is not his first language and he has professed his love for me after less than a month. Thankfully that threw a red flag in my face and I stopped it in it's tracks.
