This person is/was on Match.com. These are his emails to me in order they were sent. There were also some text messages which I have deleted and have blocked. You can see his tactics and operation in the same as many of the others in this forum. I would have never sent any money but it was fun to move him along at the end and I will post my final message to him, a dose of his own medicine. He also uses the following names: Mark Darling, Mark West, Johnson Leigh, Johnson Burg, Mark Coker. He opens fake profiles on dating sites to find his victims. Its somewhat amazing to receive an email from you,my name is Mark, I am thrilled because I never thought I'd hear from you. It gladdens my heart that we are now connected. I have come to the realization that life has to move on, no matter what has happened to me in the past. Life is full of ups and down and and I'm glad because I have been able to survive the lows of life. I have never done online dating before and it's kind of strange because how else can I meet someone since I don't do bars or clubs. I have a news that I am not too happy about but I guess I've got no option that to deliver it just as it is. I have been working on a crude oil transaction for a little while over 4 months now and I thought I could complete that transaction within the states, but unfortunately I will have to make an urgent trip to Saudi Arabia .

I feel extremely weary and reluctant to send you this message. However, desperate situations do require desperate solutions.
I was summoned by the British petroleum organisation to present my self at the UK on getting there I was arrested. I was immensely baffled and wondering what my offence could be. I have never in my life had a reason to go to court or arrested.I felt so embarrassed and humiliated.
Upon my arrival I was made to understand that the check I paid for my crude oil licence bounced back and apparently that is a serious offence. They said I tried tricking them into getting a license which has not been duly paid for. I was really gutted because there's a very reasonable amount of money in my bank account.

I called my bank to know why the check was returned unpaid. They informed me that they've been trying to reach me. There's been a fraudulent activity on my bank account. Which has made the bank applied a temporary hold on my account. They need me to come back home visit the bank, set up new security on my banking details and then they can release the account again.
I need to let you understand that I cannot go back on this I need to get this whole thing sorted before I leave. The eventual profit from this transaction is quite enormous. It's going to be about the biggest for me and I promise you that you are also going to be a partaker of this.
I want you to help me with some money to offset this bill so that I can make it back home without any hitch. You cannot regret this at all. I would also love you to please meet me at the airport upon my arrival. They will not let me to go until I have paid this fee and it might even attract a court charge. I have nothing on me right now to pay them but trust me darling I do have money at home. And since you and I will be meeting as soon as I get back home I shall be paying you back immediately.
I feel bad because this seems weird but I am unfortunately faced with this situation now and there's nothing I can do about it. You're about my only last hope now. Please do not let me down. This might just be a test of love. pray that we are able to overcome it. There is a copy of the letter i was given by the BP C.E.O . Please i need you now sweetie .

I am so sorry but I will not be able to meet you at the airport or anywhere. I have been experiencing some very horrible migraines the past couple of weeks and no medication I have taken has helped them. I have been doing some testing the last few days to see what was going on. That is why I have not been sending you emails and texts as I had recently. I so miss you. I had an appointment with the doctor this morning to go over the reports and the news is not good. I don't want to burden you with it because of all your problems.
Suffice it to say that I am a very sick person with a tumor that is inoperable. In light of the emotional strain you went through with your late wife, I would not want you to experience such grief again. There's no doubt that this is a scam. As you've already discovered on your own (good research! ) the scammer has used the names Mark Darling, Mark West, John(son) Leigh, Robert Evans, Mark Coker and Shawn Gretchen in the past.

Thank you for posting his messages here for others to see. He will likely ignore your goodbye message; expect him to continue with his script and ask you for money soon. If he does, please post the mails here so other women he's trying to scam find them when they google his name. Thank you!

His name seems bogus: mineaunult. He claims to like the "adventure of visiting New Zealand" even though he apparently lived there, and his spelling is horrendous for a so called "educated" man. My typical day activities actually. I wake, say a little prayer and read the word. Go out and work out for a little bit. Thanks for your email. I am developing a habit of checking my emails always to check if you wrote. With you I would want us to have total freedom and openness, there will be no point for us to play around. We'd better open up and just say it as it is. I truly appreciate what you do for the young ones. I think it's important that we get more people to work with the young ones. It's a pleasure to know you.

John who is who has turned 11 has a desire to be a pilot but at the same time he loves football (soccer) I am helping him in whatever he wants to be in his life. My typical day activities actually. I wake, say a little prayer and read the word. Go out and work out for a little bit. Grab coffee (don't really do breakfast) go out for my meetings or stay at home and do more researches and make business contacts. Get back in the evening. Take a shower, grab something to bite. I am glad that we have connected, I was really scared that I will lose contact with you simply because my subscription was running out and I didn't plan on renewing it.
