MAJOR GREG DIXON

I got this email from someone called ARMY Major Greg Dixon. He asked me to make a $ 480 deposit for a leave request.

We was keeping contact with me using the follow email [email protected].
He asked me for a $480 deposit ( according to him a leave request fee)
I MET THIS MAN CALLED " GREG DIXON AT LDSSINGLE.COM"

He also sent me pictures of him and his children. Can we find those people in the picture to let them know that someone is using their pictures to do bad things?

Wow! I don't know if you'll get this because you posted it in December, but guess what? I was JUST about to fall for the same email you talk about!!! The same signature, the same kind of story. This guy I met on a dating Web site and he asked me to send this request in for his leave, said his fiance died in a car crash a year ago, his parents are deceased and he has no family and wants to come live here. I believed it!!!

I am just floored that I fell for this! I should have known!!! Beware of a military guy who says he needs your help with requesting a leave of absence. SCAM!!!!!!!!

It sounds like you found out that you were dealing with a scammer before you lost any money? I hope that that is the case.
Would you please post an email or two, with the headers, so that anyone else googling your scammer will find him here?

Here is the email I got back telling me this guy, Major Ronald Packer, was granted leave. The same email the girl got back in December!!! The files that were sent were the ones asking me to fill out my personal information and saying I had to pay for his leave but would be reimbursed. This person is now back on the dating Web site I found him at originally but under a different name this time!!!! I have reported him on the dating Web site (which I don't want to name until I ask them!) BEWARE!!!! whitehrl

All soldiers/ services on a tour of duty are obliged to do it. Only the death of a close family member would allow release/leave for a short time on compassionate grounds. There are no exceptions to these rules. They can't just ask for time off, fill a form up and go. The unit goes off and they go too, for however long a period they been ordered to spend away. It goes with the job. Any different idea is always a scam
