Information on romance scams and scammers.

Hello,

I've found a profile of an attractive woman on badoo, living in Ukraine.
The profile was made in my city (in the UAE) and said she was serious and ready to travel for fun, chatted to her a bit on whatsapp and she seemed ok.
She said she has a Romanian passport, hence no need for a visa. I checked flights from Kiev and they were really cheap so I decided to buy a ticket, she immediately sent me her scanned passport copy.
She's due to fly in 5 days, she never asked me for anything (money or otherwise) and I haven't had time due to business to really sit and chat to her; it's sort of an agreement that she's coming for fun.

If she ends up asking me for emergency money a few hours before she's due to fly, I will most certainly block her and report the full details here (email, number, photos and passport).
I felt like posting in advance to get opinions, as there's no 'romance' or promises of anything. What do you guys think?

Regards,
Oz

Be careful of " Pro Daters"

Pro Daters meet men in person and have them buy presents, gifts or give them money.

Please contacta moferatorstor if you have a question or information about this post.

Please do not tell the scammer he is posted here.

Interesting, thanks for taking the time to answer.

If she's one of those, she's gonna have a hard time with me. Are they actually dangerous or it's fine to sleep with her around? haha.

So as expected, the girl 'reached the airport' and blurted out a story how the immigration officer told her she must have 1000 USD cash or she cannot travel. I told her to go back home as I will not wire her any money, not letting anything on about a possible scam or whether I will be reported the story here.
I also was able to get a refund for the ticket I bought.

Name used: Inna Egorova
Here's the passport: Image

I'm glad you could refund your ticket!

I found a similar profile on badoo as well, a beautiful Romanian woman with an Instagram account that is full of beautiful Model-like photos! She was too good to be true and I knew she was a scam especially she did not even bother to know much about me, she quickly asked to visit me in Dubai so we can spend a week together!

lol I was wondering how these scam work, honestly I was thinking she will ask me to send her money for some dramatic reason (her mother is sick, her father was in a horrible accident and no one to pay the rent :D ) so I kept playing, then she asked me to buy her a ticket, which wasn't the type of scam I was expecting.. so, trying to outsmart her, I asked her to send me her passport so I can make the bookings, I thought she would now run off and disappear, but she surprised me again and sent me a scanned copy of a Romanian passport with her photo on it, perfectly matching her profile! HAHAHA that's where I freaked out felt cornered

I started wondering, what is this? What is she up to? Is she gonna drug me and steal my kidney or what? hehe the one thing I was sure of, that she's a scammer and something bad is gonna happen, so I decided to ignore her messages, she sent me few messages like "now what?" and "are meeting or not" etc lol and I kept ignoring her and decided to stop right there :D

Out of curiousity I googled such cases, and found this post :D so here we are, laughing at them and hoping that other guys won't fall for them.

I don't think its really needed to post her passport copy, they are all the same after all, but I would if you guys think I should.

Best,
