I was contacted on May 25,2017 on Instagram from a James Wright. Said he was a Staff Sergeant for the 101st Airborne in Kabul Afghanistan. First day no big deal until the second day he said his sister was in need of an operation for her sciatica nerve pain or they would cut her leg off. Wanted to know if I had $500-1000 to help her get her treatment. I told him no then he asked me if I would get an iTunes card for her in the amount of $100.00 which I did. After that and me telling my husband about him we didn't talk for a week. Then after the 4th of July he came back said he missed me he loved me and wanted to know if I had my own bank account. I don't which I told him so since that I have not heard back from him. He's also on there as Bradley.Reynolds says he's his goog friend. Had sent me pictures saying it's him when I've seen some of the pictures on military web sites. The names are both still on Instagram and I would like him caught if possible. I have his Instagram photo if you want it please help me.

It’s a lot of info. Same name. James Wright Phillips contacted me via instagram. Stationed in Syria. He provided at least 6 photos of him with twin daughters. Provided their birthday and his. Told me his parents names, where he grew up. Says he is in love with me and retiring from marines to be with me after only 10 yrs of service. At this point I was questioning his validity so he used google hangouts to video call me to prove it was him and someone looking like him with a hat on was on the other end. Connection was bad and Voice didn’t work. we never spoke. Eventually also provided provided a retirement application acceptance letter. Told me he is a single dad and girls are in US with private institution, their insurance ran out because he was to be gone 6 months but has been gone 8. Apparently the twins were hit by car at school and one needed medical attention badly. Unbelievablely I provided personal information I should have NEVER provided so he could send me money to send to his agent in Atlanta. Provided me with agent name Alax Michelle and a bitcoin wallet address. Wanted money sent via bitcoin using coinmama. Bitcoin wouldn’t verify my account because I had NY license (thank god) so I sent what I thought was his money to his agent via Walmart money gram. As soon as I did, bank flagged checks as fraudulent. Didn’t lose anything thanks to my bank and Walmart but I’m embarrassed and ashamed I fell for it. Feel like a dumb fool and now realize how emotionally vulnerable I really am. Very worried about my identity, the legal liability and potential ramifications of it all.
