Information on romance scams and scammers.

Hello, I am new to this sight, so I hope I'm in the right place. While on Facebook, the last few weeks this lovely young lady who says she's a model has been messaging me thru Facebook. Says she's looking for a good man. She's polite, messages me often. The weird thing is she never calls me by name, answers with few very words and says she travels alot for her modeling jobs, and is now coming back to the States from West Africa. As I said, her replies are always short with very few words, and vague, but now she wrote me a whole paragraph saying she's going to send me her flight itinerary, so I know when she lands, and asked for my phone number and can't wait to talk to me finally?!! Now I'm not that naive, but being recently divorced and alone for a while, I was taken in by this. Her name is Sarah Smith. Her FB page, which I am not friends with her there, says she's from Texas, originally from Australia. I did give her a number, but it's an old disconnected one that goes to some business now. Sounds more and more like a scam to me? Any advice or direction? Thanks
