Military Communication - [email protected]

Hi,

I have been in contact with supposed military personnel on special assignment in my country. The person said a written permission must be approved by military base before a telephone conversation can take place between us. I sent email to the address given ([email protected]).

Their response confirmed an approval of my request but payment of $60.00 must be made to their representative in my country into a local bank account.

I guess something is wrong here. Please advise

This is a scam and no fee is required to speak to a real military person. Please post the full email, including the bank account information, that asked for money to be sent.
Post all email addresses and telephone numbers used in this scam.

(1) Returning officer requesting for calling should have a reasonable motive of applying of calling in the camp

(2) payment must be granted to soldier who are eligible for calling in the camp

(3) the officer will be able to have access to calling in 24 hours as soon as payment is been made and all processing is completed

(4) spouse of employee who is requesting for phone calling must pay all necessary charges

(5) you are to make payment of $60 to our representative

The person who wrote the email is African and not a member of the US military. The US military will never use a free email service such as gmail

Stop all contact with these criminals by either blocking or ignoring all emails and telephone calls. Do not tell them that you know it is a scam, just go silent and let them wonder what went wrong.
