5..Have you ever been unfaithful to your mate?? Yes, I have been unfaithful in the past (my younger years). Since you brought up the ex situation, my last relationship ended in infidelity. I believe in karma; I cheated in past relationships, so in my last relationship, I was cheated on (although I was completely faithful). What goes around comes around, and I hope that I am done with paying for my past indiscretions.

6..What is the best feature about yourself?My best feature is maturity; it covers so many areas such as understanding, compassion, caring, appreciation, and so on. I am not a kid that is going to throw away something good because I need to sow my oats. I know that relationships (all) take effort to succeed and that no one is perfect. I know what real love is, and that it is unconditional and wonderful. If I do not love someone, I will not stay with them. When I do love someone, I let them know it (someway-somehow) on a daily basis. My Mother, My Father & Miss Elaine Stone, my English teacher in senior school – I must have been around 15 years of age when she offered me the lead in the school play. The theatre changed my life – I ended up in drama school for two years. She saw something in me that nobody else seemed to do at that time in my life. I love her dearly for that. I wish we’d have kept in touch. It was only many years later that I discovered what an effect she’d had on my life and me.

14..What do you hope Obama will do for America and the world? Hopefully bring us together as one nation, as per Martin Luther King, Jr. sermon.He has done already more than I thought possible. By been elected President of this country he has brought back the admiration and love the rest of world had for America. I see hope in him. Minorities truly believe that now the government is for real. We are represented in the White House. Obama and his family are the face of the modern USA.

15..What is your favorite drink? (alcohol or non-alcohol)? I like water (I’m not kidding). I do enjoy a good wine. I always have Perrier water at home. I also drink coffee (prepared the Greek way) and all kinds of teas and herbal concoctions. I do margaritas, beer (like dark ale) and Bloody Mary. I daydream about having a Greek ouzo or retsina sitting at a fish tavern in the seaside of my home country. I drink for the pleasure and enjoyment of it. I don’t like the way some people drink, one beer after the other, one drink after the other, and they don’t even notice it.

16..If you could see you and your future partner taking exercise together, what would you both be doing? I practice yoga, hiking, walking and some running and bicycling. On the other hand the best state of peace I can strive to have at a personal level is to make sure I stay true to myself. That has been a major struggle. I am eager to please others and also I like to be shown affection. That has taken me off my path several times. I am in peace when I know my loved ones are doing well and are happy. I am in peace when I battle my own fears. I am in peace when I am held by a woman I love.

Also I am in peace when I feel God by my side. I know he is always there but sometimes I forget.

I ran into this guy!

I got the same email with all the questions and thought it was a scam and stopped emailing back. There was a picture of hi holding a woman in his arms and that really decided me on the scam. I got this guy's email from Smartdate.com.

I received similar emails from a guy who claimed as an electrical engineer, a self employer contractor, 60 year old widow with a 17 year old son living in Texas, recently won a 9 million dollars award of contract from London of England which I have been doubting of his identity and how much truth his emails have got because of the old saying "too good to be true", also this guy poor English writing and keeping copy love poems from different websites. Now I am 100% sure this is a scam and wish other ladies won't be tricked and scammed by it.

Thanks for the mail. I'm self employed and I enjoy my job. I do work for firms, for government buildings and some huge companies. live in TX, I've lived here all my life. David attend a school here in the city. You know what it takes to be together for over 17years now and wouldn't love to miss each other so much. He lives here at home with me. I drive a 2008  Chevrolet, well i was the only child of my parent so i was so close to them but I lost them  when i was 25 and i never had the chance to get that special care from them for so long.. I had to work so I can take care of my Studies back then, I was fortunate to get a scholarship who helped me through school. I lost him too on the way and it become so hard for me but i thank God for who I'm Today . Invent had much care in my life , when my wife came into my life to show me that care my parents was unable to show me , I lost her too. So here I'm now, wishing and hoping you would give me all that care I've always longed for. My grandparents were Irish, when i went for my master's degree in London , i went there to see how it is like. It's so beautiful there. Ever since we started sending the recent messages we've sent to each other...I've been so much thinking about you and to be sincere i am thinking about you.Wow! So here I stand, among the digital masses. We're not so different after all. Here I stand,surrounded by people who've met on-line,  People who've loved and lost, and people who are found, and somehow, in a desperate  world, found each other. There is so much I want to tell you, a lot has been running through my head lately. I'm having trouble putting my thoughts into words so you will have to bare with me through this.I keep thinking about the future, about life, and what I want out of it. I keep thinking about us and what this relationship means to me. I keep thinking about these things and I realize they go hand in hand. This relationship is my future; it's what I want out of life. I want to grow old with you. I want to experience this crazy love forever and ever, and I really think I'm going to get to. I want us to walk through new houses picking the one that would be just right for us. I want to see you walk around our house in a big t-shirt with your hair down and catch me staring at how gorgeous you are. I want you to pull the covers off me at night and then I have to get even closer, if it's possible, to you to keep warm. I want to see you laugh like crazy at me when I do stupid stuff. I want to rub lotion all over your body because you laid out in the sun  too long. I want to hold you when you cry and smile with you when you smile. I want to fall asleep every night with you in my arms. I want you to fall asleep on my chest listening to the beat of my heart and know it beats for you I want you to be the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see when I go to sleep.I want to see your bad morning hair; I think it will be so cute. I want to sit on the beach with you and watch the sun set, and I want all the people who pass us to envy the love that we obviously have for each other.I want to see you walk down that isle and I want to take your hand for the rest of my life. I want to spend all night,andmaybe the next day, making love to you with an undying passion (sorry to be so blunt). I want to sit there talking to you for hours about nothing at all but in the same time everything or maybe we won't talk at all and just grin at each other realizing how lucky we are. I want you to get mad at me for doing something stupid, and I want you to bust out laughing when you try to yell at me. I want to lay with you in front of a fireplace and keep the heat going long after the fire goes out. I want to take trips with you to places we've never been and experience them together''''''''. I want us to go skinny-dipping in a hotel pool and get caught and streak back to our hotel room waking everyone up because we're laughing so hard. I want us to go and pick out the hot tub we want with the biggest grins onour faces the whole time.I want our friends to come over and get totally jealous because they don't share a love like we do. I want to be walking into a store with you and trip and fall on my face and turn around to see you rolling on the ground laughing at me. I want us to run outside in the rain and act like total kids getting completely soaked, and when we come back in stripping down to nothing as we stumble into the bedroom, or the kitchen counter, or the balcony, or the dining room table, or an office desk, or the shower, which ever one we feel like at the time.I want it to take your breath away every time I say, "I love you" because you know it's coming from the heart.I want us to sit down with a box of strawberries, a bottle of chocolate syrup, and athing of mint chocolate ice cream; well, I'll let your imagination finish that one. I want to love you and be with you for at least forever if not a little longer. 5..Have you ever been unfaithful to your mate?? Yes, I have been unfaithful in the past (my younger years). Since you brought up the ex situation, my last relationship ended in infidelity. I believe in karma; I cheated in past relationships, so in my last relationship, I was cheated on (although I was completely faithful). What goes around comes around, and I hope that I am done with paying for my past indiscretions.
 
6..What is the best feature about yourself?My best feature is maturity; it covers so many areas such as understanding, compassion, caring, appreciation, and so on. I am not a kid that is going to throw away something good because I need to sow my oats. I know that relationships (all) take effort to succeed and that no one is perfect. I know what real love is, and that it is unconditional and wonderful. If I do not love someone, I will not stay with them. When I do love someone, I let them know it (someway-somehow) on a daily basis. My Mother, My Father & Miss Elaine Stone, my English teacher in senior school – I must have been around 15 years of age when she offered me the lead in the school play. The theatre changed my life – I ended up in drama school for two years. She saw something in me that nobody else seemed to do at that time in my life. I love her dearly for that. I wish we’d have kept in touch. It was only many years later that I discovered what an effect she’d had on my life and me.

By been elected President of this country he has brought back the admiration and love the rest of world had for America. I see hope in him. Minorities truly believe that now the government is for real. We are represented in the White House. Obama and his family are the face of the modern USA.
 
15..What is your favorite drink? (alcohol or non-alcohol)? I like water (I’m not kidding). I do enjoy a good wine. I always have Perrier water at home. I also drink coffee (prepared the Greek way) and all kinds of teas and herbal concoctions. I do margaritas, beer (like dark ale) and Bloody Mary. I daydream about having a Greek ouzo or retsina sitting at a fish tavern in the seaside of my home country. I drink for the pleasure and enjoyment of it. I don’t like the way some people drink, one beer after the other, one drink after the other, and they don’t even notice it.
 
16..If you could see you and your future partner taking exercise together, what would you both be doing? I practice yoga, hiking, walking and some running and bicycling. I would love to practice all of them with my partner. Exercising is like playing and my partner would be my first choice to take along in these activities.

19..How would you define peace? An ideal state of peace would be for everyone on this world to be healthy, feel safe, loved and needed. If all human beings felt like that then there wouldn’t be any need for wars, killings and all the nonsense that has been going on since humans became “civilized”.
 
On the other hand the best state of peace I can strive to have at a personal level is to make sure I stay true to myself. That has been a major struggle. I am eager to please others and also I like to be shown affection. That has taken me off my path several times. I am in peace when I know my loved ones are doing well and are happy. I am in peace when I battle my own fears. I am in peace when I am held by a woman I love.

Also I am in peace when I feel God by my side. I know he is always there but sometimes I forget.

Mind you, the English was bad from the beginning, so I gave a cell number and asked him to call, he didn't for 3 days while I kept this going. I saw messages being repeated, no answer to my questions, so when I finally get an email from poor Lisa calling me mom, in a broken English, breaking the news they had to leave for Cairo, Egypt, I knew for sure it was pure bs. Plus a 15 year-old American girl would be in school at that time. So I sent her an email saying I would be honored to be her mother, bla bla bla... Then I sent him an email saying that he had never heard my voice, how could he say he loved my voice, and if he didn't call me right away I would think that he doesn't exist. So the phone ring immediately and an African obviously calling from Africa, not PA, says it's him and he wants my address to send me flowers. So I told him the call was bad, maybe it would be a good idea if I called him back. He tells be he is using his co-worker's phone and upon my insistence the line gets cut off.So I send him an email telling him I loved hearing his beautiful voice, and I was so sorry the line dropped. Then a few moments later I send another telling him I love him so much and I miss him and if he would call me tonight... He sends me a phone number and only that. I didn't even bother. Then I sent an email telling him he could also send me a 20.000 dollar cheque to fix up my house so we could sell it when he came backnfrom Egypt, after all, once we were married what was mine was his and vice-versa. I then were to him apologizing, because maybe he thought I was a scammer after my last email, I then said I would never do ghat, because as a Christian I know widows - and orphans are precious to God and I didn't want to burn in hell... I then said I loved his voice especially his African accent (with many expletives) and that I had located all his other profiles and Interpol has been following our communication. I finished telling him how much he will be burning in he'll one day and I'll wave from heaven.

Here is the post my cousin received from this jerk. She met him on Senior People Meet. After she was scammed the first time, she was familiar with his pitch and when he tried to scam her for 10,000 she knew he was a scammer.

He calls himself Jeffrey Fletcher and uses the email address [email protected]. His phone number is 410-929-8479. He claims to live in Hurlock, MD. He said he was a self employed contracting electrical engineer. She received the same identical email you received from him. Post pic.s and all here in Florida but has flown to Australia to visit with his son who is staying with his twin brother. He is obviously lying as his story changes. He tested me and the info looked like it was meant for another woman by what he wrote. I just want to know how I can expose him for what he obviously is. I found this site here by chance.
He claims to be Spanish and is on his way to the UK next week as he is a Contractor too.
I have been looking around and I see the same story he gives ,with some minor changes posted by other folks who have been scammed.

1..What do you like in a woman? I love to look into eyes that reflect back my qualities. If I can see compassion, honesty and acceptance in a pair of eyes, then I can see a possible partner. I could only partner with a lady that respects my spiritual growth and authentic self, as I would hers – and the space, freedom and trust to do this.

2..Do you have kids? I have one beautiful daughter– Lisa(15yrs old but will be 16 yrs old in few days)

3..I was a Construction Engineering For a big company,I received my degree in Construction ENG, At the Moment ,I'm self employed.

4..What's more important to you, love or money?? Both love and unfortunately money, are important. Love is vital and money is essential. Having a partner who loves you with all their heart yet despises you because you cannot provide or because you spend more than you make is not a formula for a successful relationship. Love is so much easier when you do not have to struggle financially. However, if I had to choose between the two… I would rather be loved and poor than rich and loveless. What good is money with no one to share it with?

5..Have you ever been unfaithful to your mate?? Yes, I have been unfaithful in the past (my younger years). Since you brought up the ex situation, my last relationship ended in infidelity. I believe in karma; I cheated in past relationships, so in my last relationship, I was cheated on (although I was completely faithful). What goes around comes around, and I hope that I am done with paying for my past indiscretions.

6..What is the best feature about yourself?My best feature is maturity; it covers so many areas such as understanding, compassion, caring, appreciation, and so on. I am not a kid that is going to throw away something good because I need to sow my oats. I know that relationships (all) take effort to succeed and that no one is perfect. I know what real love is, and that it is unconditional and wonderful. If I do not love someone, I will not stay with them. When I do love someone, I let them know it (someway-somehow) on a daily basis. I am not afraid; I know that everyone has desires and I find pleasure in fulfilling those desires, so long as they are mature and comfortable enough with themselves to know what they want.

7..What do u do for fun and in your free time? I love music, I write, paint (occasionally), walk along the beach (especially with my daughter), sing (when I’m alone), watch romantic films.

My Mother, My Father & Miss Elaine Stone, my English teacher in senior school – I must have been around 15 years of age when she offered me the lead in the school play. The theatre changed my life – I ended up in drama school for two years. She saw something in me that nobody else seemed to do at that time in my life. I love her dearly for that. I wish we’d have kept in touch. It was only many years later that I discovered what an effect she’d had on my life and me.

12..Do you have any sisters and/or brothers? None, I'm the only son of my parents .

14..What do you hope Obama will do for America and the world? Hopefully bring us together as one nation, as per Martin Luther King, Jr. sermon.He has done already more than I thought possible. By been elected President of this country he has brought back the admiration and love the rest of world had for America. I see hope in him. Minorities truly believe that now the government is for real. We are represented in the White House. Obama and his family are the face of the modern USA.

15..What is your favorite drink? (alcohol or non-alcohol)? I like water (I’m not kidding). I do enjoy a good wine. I always have Perrier water at home. I also drink coffee (prepared the Greek way) and all kinds of teas and herbal concoctions. I do margaritas, beer (like dark ale) and Bloody Mary. I daydream about having a Greek ouzo or retsina sitting at a fish tavern in the seaside of my home country. I drink for the pleasure and enjoyment of it. I don’t like the way some people drink, one beer after the other, one drink after the other, and they don’t even notice it.

16..If you could see you and your future partner taking exercise together, what would you both be doing? I practice yoga, hiking, walking and some running and bicycling. I would love to practice all of them with my partner. Exercising is like playing and my partner would be my first choice to take along in these activities.

19..How would you define peace? An ideal state of peace would be for everyone on this world to be healthy, feel safe, loved and needed. If all human beings felt like that then there wouldn’t be any need for wars, killings and all the nonsense that has been going on since humans became “civilized”.

On the other hand the best state of peace I can strive to have at a personal level is to make sure I stay true to myself. That has been a major struggle. I am eager to please others and also I like to be shown affection. That has taken me off my path several times. I am in peace when I know my loved ones are doing well and are happy. I am in peace when I battle my own fears. I am in peace when I am held by a woman I love.

Also I am in peace when I feel God by my side. I know he is always there but sometimes I forget.

I had looked him up before but could not find anything. So I trusted him. Then when he first asked for money I was so mad because I felt he was scamming me. But I wanted him to be real so bad, and his story sounded right, and he played it right.

After we 'fell in love' he went on business trip to Costa Rica. After some time he 'lost his wallet and had to pay the hotel bill, they turned off his internet he said. Then he needed money for his daughter's birthday, then she was sick, and the hospital was holding his passport, then finally he was taken in and 'detained by immigration'. Western Union suspected, and called to interview me. They gave me refund for which I am so thankful because I don't really have money, and this final thing would have devastated me.

It was then that I did more research. It wasn't until I copied some words he wrote in an early email and Googled them. That's how I found this site.

Even this morning he still texted me wondering what I was up to, and what his fate will be 'down here'. I told him the FBI confiscated my phone, and that they had called after Western Union did. Then I shut down my phone. I don't know what to say to him, and I don't want to keep hearing from him. My phone does not have the option to block numbers. I'm about to get a new phone anyway.

I feel so stupid, and sad. He broke my heart, and just several months after I lost my husband to suicide.
